Eleanor peered her head round the corner making sure the coast was clear for her and Ron to enter the Room of Requirement. Umbridge was becomes more and more suspicious of Harry by the day and had undergone investigations of nearly every student in the school, including her to find out if anything was going on.

Her growing paranoia only heightened when the inquisitorial squad almost caught Luna entering the meeting last week, although overhearing a conversation from Astoria in the common room they only ended up trapped in a broom closet. Eleanor can remember seeing Dracos face when he entered the common room that night, he was definitely the least bit amused.

She could even tell they'd become suspicious of her disappearances every Friday evening, even Pansy had laid it on thick with her last week. Eleanor was just great full she could now use Rodger as an excuse for her absence but for how long they'd take that answer was still unknown.

"Maybe you haven't seen him cause he's died."

Ron's face flourished a bright shade of pink after realising what he just said to her. "Sorry. That was of poor taste." He quickly apologised whilst scratching the back of his head.

Eleanor stared back at him with pointed brows. "You don't say."

"Or maybe he's realised he doesn't want to be with you." Ron suggested with a snap of his fingers.

"Well that makes me feel so much better!" Eleanor quietly snapped back. Noticing the corridor she peered her head round was clear she tugged Ron round the corner of the corridors she grumbled. "You really know how to kick a girl when she's down Ronald."

"So you really haven't spoken to him about your feelings yet, haven't you two been a thing for a month?"

Eleanor twisted her head to face him in the dark hallway, the only light emitted from the burning torches hung on the walls. "Have you spoken to Hermione about your feelings yet?" She retaliated in a low hiss.

Ron pouted his lips and his narrowed eyes at her. "I have no idea what you're talking about." He dismissed.

Eleanor scoffed. "Really! That's the worst lie you've ever told Ronald."

Ron scowled, grabbing the sleeve of her robe and pulling her along the empty hallway he spoke, "Will you stop calling me Ronald, it just reminds me of-

"Hermione, I know." She retorted with a slight tease. Their feet echoing as they tiptoed across the slab, it was always so quiet and eerie up here.

"Hold on. Weren't we talking about your relationship or lack-of relationship problems not mine." He said, in best attempts to remove the conversation from him.

Eleanor shrugged entering through the doorway to the room of requirement, "I don't think we were."

After a few seconds Ron followed her in quickly closing the door behind him, it seems the army had already started as the pair narrowly missed a spell shooting past their heads to hit the wall behind them with a fizz.

Ron adjusts his sleeves on his jumper so they were now rolled up over his elbows, he often did this during the meetings. "Ill catch you up later." He says before scurrying over to Hermione.

Eleanor stood alone as she looked around the room, Harry was helping Cho stun another Ravenclaw student in the back corner, Harvey and Zacharias had Ty levitated in the air by his ankles, as he demanded they put him down and Fred and George were viciously duelling each other.

But the person she hoped to see wasn't here.

Maybe he was avoiding her. Maybe what Ron said was true all along. That is the not wanting to be with her, not that he had suddenly died of mysterious causes.
