Dull light streamed in through the stain glass windows and beamed onto Eleanors face below. Eleanor awoke suddenly with her knees still hugged close to her chest and her neck craned in a very uncomfortable position against the back of the chair she slept upon. Her eyes were puffy and strained as she rubbed them with the backs of her hands, not being familiar with waking up to a room so bright.
She paused, why was the room so bright and why was she asleep in a chair still fully dressed, with her robe and shoes on. She blinked slowly.
Her eyes adjusted to her surroundings and she was able to take note to the fact she was still in the hospital wing. Eleanor groaned into her hands, she wasn't meant to fall asleep, especially not till morning with Draco sleeping only a few feet away.
It was still quite early in the morning, the hospital wing was quiet except for Dracos soft breathing. Eleanor looked over to him sleeping peacefully, not one hair was out of place on his head, he looked rather perfect. She grimaced at him whilst attempting to pull her knotty hair into bun.
Merlin he even aggravated her in his sleep.
Once she'd successfully managed to balance her hair in a unflattering pile on top of her head, Eleanor quickly rose from the chair taking one last look to make sure she hadn't woken Draco before scuttling out of the hospital wing.
The halls were empty, it was still to early to even catch breakfast on her way back. Eleanor rounded the corner of the corridor that lead towards the dungeons and came face-to-face with Madame Pomfrey, who was on her way to start duty for the day.
Pomfrey smiled at Eleanor as she patted down her pinafore. "Sorry dear, I didn't see you there I was in a completely different world." She apologised rather shocked at the sight of a student wandering the corridors.
Eleanor cautiously smiled back noticing the shift in Pomfreys face once she caught site of the state she was in, it was blatantly obvious Eleanor didn't sleep in her own dorm last night. Pomfreys eyes flicked across her puffy dark eyes and crumpled robe before stopping at the birds nest Eleanor calls hair.
Eleanor half expected her to give her a detention or even send her off to Umbridge with a note, but Pomfrey did neither. She simply raised her eyebrows, giving Eleanor the 'you know better than this' eyes before stepping aside and marching down the corridor.
Eleanor managed to yawn her way back to her dorm, her eyes had grown heavy and a small with constant nag had started at the bottom of her neck. That's her karma for sleeping in a wooden chair.
She unlocked the dorm door and quietly stepped in making sure she didn't wake the girls in the process. Neither stirred in their beds, as she padded across the room and over to hers when she realised it wasn't empty and there was in fact a large figure tucked in her duvet.
A very Blaise shaped figure.
Eleanor reached out and firmly shook him on the shoulders. "Blaise, Blaise wake up!" She lowly ordered as he came round.
"Go away. I'm trying to sleep." He grumbled squinting his eyes up at her.
"Yeah, in my bed so get up." She hushed. "How did you even get in?"
"Pansy let me in obviously."
"Well I'm here now so get up." Eleanor lowly hissed trying to grab hold of the duvet.
