Eleanor took one last glance at the girls who were still both asleep before slipping out the dorm. It was too early to be out of bed on a Sunday morning.

The castle and surrounding mountains were covered in a thick blanket of snow, it made the grounds resemble a type of beautiful winter wonderland she'd seen in the history books. The cold wind nipped at her face and hands causing them to turn a funny shade of pink, Eleanor cursed herself, she should've picked up her gloves before she left.

Eleanor noticed that she was seemingly the only one awake as she walked through Hogsmeade. She hadn't even spotted another students making their way towards the inn although the fresh footprints crunched into the snow showed she must be going on the right track.

Once she arrived at the Hogs Head Inn, she realised it was a shabby looking old pub on the very outskirts of Hogsmeade, in fact she'd never known it was here before. Eleanors face pulled in disgust as she reached down and tugged on the dirty doorknob. Wizards literally have magic to do the cleaning for them yet they still choose to be slobs.

To the surprise of no one the pub was damp and cold on the inside, and she was pretty sure she saw a old tatty goat jump off the countertop of the bar. After today she would not be in a rush to return.

But no one waiting behind the door with guns or their wands out. So maybe it was already better than she thought.

Eleanor made her way round the inn until she found a corner tucked away behind the bar, a corner where a group of students were already sat around waiting. Eleanors eyes scanned across many familiar faces, they ranged from all years and all houses- well maybe not all houses as she was noticeably the only Slytherin.

Eleanor mad her way across the creaky floorboards and squashed herself into the empty spot beside Ginny as she talked to a Hufflepuff student Eleanor knew as Susan Bones and a boy who hadn't even turned to acknowledge her presence.

"Eleanor Gray right?" A soothing voice says from beside her.

Eleanor turned her head to the boy sat next to her, as he'd turned to look at her Eleanor was pretty sure she remember him from last year, there was something about him she remembers. "Yeah and you're....Rodger Davies if I remember correctly." Eleanor wishfully replies, if it wasn't him it would make the start of a very awkward conversation.

The boy, who must've been Rodger held his hand out as Eleanor shook it, they were warm and large against hers. "Correct. I thought I recognised you from last year." He had a small smile on his face as he talked.

Eleanor smiled back, looking at the tips of his brown locks peeking out from his black beanie, he had large eyes that matched. "Oh yes, guess I still owe you for that huh." She laughed.

Rodger leaned forward to rest his elbows on his knees as he spoke to her, "I think I'll let it slide." He paused taking a deep breath. "I'm sorry about Cedric by the way, I knew you guys were close."

Eleanors heart panged as the smile faded, she still wasn't use to people saying anything to her about Cedric. "Thank you."

When he pair had fallen into silence Harry, Ron and Hermione appeared from around the corner and stiffly stood in front of the group, looking rather surprised so many had turned up. At this point Eleanor had become more confused about what this meeting was about, it seems that everyone else had an idea except her.
