Amber POV (I know I've been doing a lot of hers not Hayes but right now hers is where the most action is happenin so)

"Can we talk?" The girl I just saw kissing Hayes in Chipotle asks.

"No you cannot ta-" Reb starts but I cut her off.

"Why?" I wonder. Shouldn't I be talking to Hayes about this, not the girl he cheated on me with.

"I have to explain something to you. Hayes, he can't talk about what I have to tell you." She replies running her fingers through her long hair.

"So he's too much of a coward to-" Reb starts again and I cut her off yet again.

"Fine."

"Fine?" Reb asks and I shrug. Whatever she has to say, it must be important. Might as well.

"Can they uhm..." The girl says hesitantly looking back and forth from Reb to Cam.

"Yeah you guys can go now." I inform then.

"Amber! I want-"

I look at her and she sighs. Cam and her retreat out after she tells us that they will just be waiting in the car in case the girl turns out to be a serial killer. Gotta love Reb.

I invite the girl in and we head to my living room, which I feel like is a good place to have the serious conversation we're about to have. At least I think it's serious.

"So first off my name is Eva," the girl starts sitting on a chair to the right of the couch I sprawled onto. "I uh was Hayes's girlfriend. Back in September. Before his dad was murdered."

Hayes POV

"That wasn't as bad as I thought it would be." Eva informs me after my football practice, as we walk to my car. She stayed for the 2 hours after school to watch my practice and I freakin love her for that.

"Thanks for staying babe." I wrapped my arm around her and she gagged.

"Yeah you're going to have to take a shower." She said jokingly and I laughed.

"Aw you know you love me." I teased and we had reached my car by this time. I picked her up by the waist and rested her back against the car while she wrapped her legs around me.

I stared into her dark brown eyes and she grinned.

"You were really good out there." Eva said softly.

"I try." I responded and pressed my lips to hers. Eva is my girlfriend of two years and I love her with all of my heart. Eva is perfect, she really is, and I don't know how she stands me. That makes her even more perfefct.

We kissed for a few more minutes and my hands wrapped around her rear end with her back still pressed against the car. It got pretty heated for being in the school parking lot. Eva pulled away and we both breathed heavily for a moment.

"I love you." She whispered and I grinned. She was perfect. We were perfect.

I opened the door for her to the passenger seat then walked around to the driver's side.

"Where you wanna go?" I asked her turning the key in the ignition.

"Shower first." She states trying to look disgusted by me but ends up giggling.

"Yes ma'am." I give her a mock salute as she rolls her eyes. Eva flips through the radio stations not settling on one and I smile because she's so adorable.

I pull into my driveway of my family's pretty nice sized house and we hop out.

"Hey mom!" I call as we head up the stairs to my room. My mom is a kindergarten teacher so she's often home before me since I have practice everyday.
