Chapter 3: Roughed up

You decided to hang low for a while after the turtles became aware of your existence. You got worried of being found out and when Raph shoved you it made you question whether their clan even trusted you, much less working together. But sadly you'll need more aid than what your wolf can provide to defeat the foot clan. The recent nights have been quiet, even the purple dragons ceased their neighborhood taxing. The only thing that happened was a truck filled with chemicals exploding, making the neighborhood look like a mess. You wondered if it had anything to do with turtles and their own missions. You slouched back into your couch sighing from boredom while Kami's head was on your lap. You finally thought up a name, Kami is a broad term for ancient shinto gods, they could take many forms in nature. Kami had not gone out for patrol either and was restless to get some fresh air. She whined looking up at you with those big eyes.

"Fine let's go on a walk tonight and don't bite anyone k?" you patted the dog and went to polish your blades waiting for night fall. Kami was at the window anxious to go on the night stroll. You had to take the wolf for walks during the night when you were not patrolling. He was much larger than an average dog and would attract too many eyes.

"Let's go girl" opening the door while grabbing a baggy hoodie, she hurried outside along with you. You didn't bring your blades or gear just the mask and stars in case for run ins. Kami ran down the sidewalk sniffing each lamp post. Checking your phone you noticed that April left in the middle of a conversation earlier in the day, she still hasn't gotten back to you, you dialed her. But it wasn't her who picked up.

"What are you doing!". A males voice called out,
"Don't pick up calls from phones we stole-"the line cut out.

It sounded like the same dragons you dealt with before, they stole Aprils phone. 'What about her though, is she ok?' You hurried to the Fortune cookie shop where the dragons met up last time. Kami excited for the new mission went with you. You weren't going to get the phone, just checking if she was there. You put your mask and hoodie up, hoping it enough to conceal your identity sneaking in through the broken window. The Purple Dragons where throwing Kunais at a wall aiming for a paper target on it. There was a stash of electronics you saw Aprils red phone case that you gifted her before you left to Japan. But April was nowhere to be seen, not willing to risk the phones information value you backed away. Until the men were kicked into the wall. 'It's like where magnets'. The night you decided to go out you somehow met them again, its like fate pulling you back to them. Donnie and Mikey looked annoyed towards the other two like they've argued. The turtles cornered the Purple dragons, Leonardo slamming Fong into the wall.

"You punks stole a phone from a friend of ours. We want it back" He glared

"Whatever we steal lots of phones"

"Well lets see em.. Now!" Leo demanded, the dragon led them to the same stack of electronics.

Donnie examined the pile and eyed out Aprils phone. "Hey that looks like it."He pointed to the red cased phone. You watched it unfold from above, but lost your footing and slipped off the beam. The ground was shaking the ceiling crumbling but you landed safely on your feet, shockwaves coming up your legs from the force.

"Does anyone know whats happening?" Mikey frantically asked and he spotted you coming over waving to him. But the greeting was short lived. The ground under the pile opened like a cavern.

"Ah! what's happening?!" Mikey was freaking out, you placed your hand on his shoulder trying to reassure him.

"What the heck?" Leo said. 'What the hell' You looked at the other boys they were also clueless. Robots the size of cats came out of the hole they began eating the electronics.
