A loud clatter from Donnie's lab caught your attention all the way from the dojo where you were trying to meditate. Earlier today Donnie offered to show you his new invention. You saw it and Mikey immediately called it the Shell Raiser but you declined to get on it tonight, feeling tired from today's training with Leonardo and cooking with Mikey. You heard them come back but didn't go to check.

"Donnie I hope nothing exploded cus I don't want to clean up today" you sighed opening the doors, Kami next to you whining for you to hurry and open them.

"Woah you guys have a team mascot!" Someone in a green suit came to coddle your wolf. Not knowing the stranger you locked him in a hold pressing your knee into his back.

"Who are you?" you seethed near his ear instilling him to laugh nervously.

"Easy (y/n) he's not an enemy," Donnie said from the Shell Raiser. You let the guy go from your grip.

"Who is this?" You asked, the stranger was dressed like the turtles but was definitely human underneath. Kami growled at him annoyed by him tugging her ears, he backed away nervously.

"I'm the Pulverizer!" He spoke before Donnie could. Donnie was on top of the Shellraiser making minor adjustments.

"Donnie was teaching me a few tricks to become a superhero, look!" He was twirling Donnie's Bo staff but at a very slow beginners level. He hit his head laughing it off.

"See I got it!" he smiled at you.

"No you didn't you need more practice before you master the basics," Donnie said.

"Can you teach me some cool moves?" Pulverizer asked you.

"Who? Her?" Donnie chuckled, coming down from the Shellraiser and pulling up his protective eye gear.

"Unless you want to end in the hospital, then be my guest"

Pulverizer gulped while you grinned at him.

"I would teach you but it requires an actual motivation, you need more than just wanting to be a hero." You said. And in your case it had to be so, to learn the Ashura Katas and specific techniques required a strong mental fortitude and motivation. If you fail on the way it will hurt you in the end,  making it a risky thing to learn. Best to not show anyone who isn't taking it seriously.

"But.." you paused turning back to face Pulverizer, "I'm sure Donnie can help in teaching you the basics. At least he won't send you to the hospital like I would" You grinned at Donnie, you basically dumped chaperone duty on him.

"But I wanna be a hero Now. I don't have time for the basics, show me the good stuff" Pulverizer demanded, speeding closer to Donnie making him step back several times. He sighed.

"Ok, one more"

"This is gonna be good, heh" you leaned on the Shellraiser watching as Donnie spun his bo staff smoothly and perfectly.

"Jab!, Step!, Sweep!, Twirl!, Backflip!, Strike!" He listed and performed all those moves with his staff.

"Should be calling you Sensei Donnie" you teased, he sent a glare to you, you stopped laughing. He handed his staff to the Pulverizer.

"Ok, got it. Jab!" he thrust the bo staff forward but from the wrong end, making the staff's blade come out almost slicing Pulverizer's face.

"Augh!" he fell to the ground.

"And that's why we start with the basics". Donnie took him to the living room where the punching bag was, you left the clumsy student and new Sensei to their own things, going back to meditate. Sadly, it didn't last long. Donnie and Pulverizer were now training in the dojo and with the squeaky noises of his costume, it was hard to concentrate so you switched to joining them in basic exercise training. Pulverizer did everything half-assed but did ok in the ground rolls.
