Ok, I just revised pls re-read again if you'd like and can.

You groaned getting out of bed. Muscles ached and your back needed a nice hot shower. Last night's patrol didn't end that well. Well, for the past few nights none of them have. You were fighting the Krang, FishFace, and Dog Pound. It was fun to get some hits into DogPound but the Krang escaped with the new weapon, Donnie called Sub spacial endo particle disruptor. 'Donnie really has to simplify the technical terms for these things.' We came back home tired with nothing to show for it.

The shower relaxed your thoughts, you lathered the shampoo April had recently gifted you. Its mild scent further enhanced relaxation, finally getting out of the shower refreshed and recharged. Today you'd be training with April. Master Splinter said you could help out with training her since you were a Kunoichi. You willingly agreed but it was still much too early until April would come down to the lair. You went to the Dojo to meditate and do some much-needed stretches for the same knot on your shoulder. Inhaling the crisp air and the light dim of the morning sun made the dojo glow. It was weirdly comforting to be alone with just you and your thoughts.

Every muscle you stretched felt like a part of you was coming alive again, but the pain on your neck bothered you once more. You had accelerated healing as a benefit but apparently no immunity to muscle or wound pains. You rubbed the same spot between your shoulder and neck trying to get it to stop hindering you already.

"Need help with that?"

You paused. His ninja stealth really passes by you sometimes. He is the stealthiest after Master Splinter. Early mornings were Leonardo's time to meditate. He would often wake up first to get the chance at a quiet dojo to himself, but he found you there instead. He had noted that you'd been rubbing the spot on your shoulder frequently, it could hinder your missions if you did an action too swiftly.

"Sit down" he gently insisted. You had no reason to deny it either his blessed hands or a pain killer to make the pain go away, or worse the bitter herbal remedies Splinter would make. He sat behind you. With a large hand on your shoulder, he rolled his fingers into the tense muscle. You hummed satisfied that the tension was being released from your poor muscle. He passed his warm fingers
near the spot of your spine and neck points. It suddenly felt hot, your cheeks turned redder.

"Y-OW!" You heard a crack on were Leo was massaging you.

"Sorry! I didn't mean for that hurt" he winced worried he actually hurt you.

"Geez Leo and here I thought you were an expert at it,"

"I don't usually help with muscle pains on someone without a shell" he showed his pearly white teeth as he put more pressure on your shoulder making the pain lessen.

"Oh, so it's my fault I don't have a protective shell, like you guys?" You remarked turning your head to the side ever so slightly to show your grinning smile.

To Leo, as someone who had to learn to read body movements and see-through people's lies, was surprised you'd even do that. A ninja never shows vulnerability or any type of openings like you just did. Showing one's neck so openly symbolizes trust. He cleared his throat wondering why he delved deeper into that detail.

"I'm just saying I don't do this often, so cut me some slack."

"Huh? Cut the leader slack?" You got up readjusting yourself into a fight position.

You scoffed, "I could never dial down my abilities to you, that would be dishonorable."

Intrigued by how quickly you bounced back he also went into form. You swung a fist at him he planted his feet in one spot and moved his upper body away from your fist, swiveling back to kick him. He finally moved from his planted spot meaning you were actually proving a challenge for him. You kicked upwards aiming for his head but with that opening Leo actually lifted your leg with his hand.
