Your new life started shakily, your leg still limped so you'll need time for it to go back to normal again. Splinter caught you the next morning training at 1am and immediately pulled you back to the couch to rest.

"But Master Splinter I can already stand and walk" he glanced back with a knowing stare.

"Ok sortaaa" you nervously laughed.

"It seems I cannot hide anything from you ". You tried one last time into him letting you train.

"Yknow Master, I can make a mean calzone with 3 cheeses~" your last shot was to bribe him with food. His ears twitched. You slowly treaded back but he whipped back catching you.

"Your body is not ready to handle extreme movements young lady take the day off and meditate" you muttered incoherent words as he dragged you by the hem of your hoodie, making sure you wouldn't escape.

He took you into the dojo where you saw a large tree.

"It's beautiful" he lets you go, you went to the tree admiring it. It soothed you to be under its shade entering in trance, you sat down cross legged. Master Splinter joined beside you under the tree.

"Truth be told I don't usually meditate, I train to clear my mind, but...this feels different." He hummed

"For how long have you been training martial arts?"

"A year and a half" thinking back, it was both a living hell and paradise for you.

"Hmmm your learning was rushed, you haven't had enough time to truly hone your skills."

"Yeah haha I lack experience, but the martial arts I learned was mixed with system-a. It helps to get rid of any weakness rather than adapting to it. I guess my.. uh type of blood helps the gaps too"

"Every person has their weakness young one" you nodded.

"If you don't mind Master, could you educate me in your style? I promise to be diligent, I'd be honored if you'd let me" You bowed your head.

"Even though I am a rat?"

"Your appearance does not matter I see the good you've instilled into your sons, each with their own strengths. If I want to work with them, I'll need to be on the same page as them."

"You may train with Leonardo, it'll be good for him as leader to know your skill range"

"Hnnngg!?" You jolted hearing his name.

"Is there a problem?"

"No! It's just... haha out of all your sons Master I feel Leonardo is the most intimidating in battle"

"Not Raphael?"

"Raph is more upfront you can see his true intentions clearly.....with Leonardo it's hard to get a read on him"

"Do not be scared he would never actually harm you"

"Mmm"

A roar fell on your ears. "What was that?" you looked to Splinter who got up with a look you can only call as irritated father. 'The guys are in for it' you followed Splinter limping.

"What is all this commotion?" he asked facing his sons and a giant...

"Is that an alligator?" you peaked behind Splinter, you felt both terrified and excited.

Raph stood up next to the huge Alligators head.

"Mikey made us bring a mutant back to the lair and it attacked us!" He pointed to Mikey who slowly rose from hiding behind the big beast.
