Today started off great. You went to sleep around morning to catch enough hours and made dinner for the family with some tasty cuisine, ingredients courtesy of you. For the past week, you've been craving random things, stopping by Murakami's and the grocery store often to pick up things.

"Lemme try" Leonardo was in the kitchen with you. Ever since you found out and assured your feelings for him, they've only been growing stronger and harder to hide. Everyone but Leo had caught on, Raph would often tease you when Leo left the area.

You slide the bowl full of rice to Leo. You watched as he formed a ball using his fingers to push it together into a perfect base for the fish to lay on. "Don't forget this." You placed a tiny bowl with wasabi in it next to him. Everything was made perfectly which surprised the family when you said Leo had helped you.

"It's a miracle the place isn't burning to the ground."

"On the contrary Raph, if (y/n) had done any less than 90% of the cooking, then this place would certainly be in flames."

Leonardo frowned, you patted his shoulder to sit down. Recently things have been boring and depressing for April so to cheer her and everyone else up, you put on a small show for them as they ate, preparing more sushi on the spot to entertain them.

"I wanna try!" Mikey shoved you over, you leaned on the table with a hand on your hip. Everyone watched Mikey make a recipe in his head. "So first we add some of this green stuff and mix it in the rice, to give it some color."

Donnie was going to warn him "Mikey-" Raph shushed hun. "Don't ruin it" you silently agreed, Mikey was about to make a wasabi bomb and he didn't even know.

"Well he's right, no color no flavor." You smirked.

"There, I give you the turtle sushi!" Everyone's eyes widened. It made sense with the color scheme, but it was still a poor choice of words.

"That's a little-"

"Messed up," Leo finished your sentence, using his chopsticks to put sushi in his mouth. His eyes closed, slowly chewing the sushi you prepared.

Mikey thought It made sense with the color scheme. "But it's our color bros! Now, who wants to try it?"

"PASS," everyone except Splinter said. "Fine. I guess I'm eating this rarity by myself." he tossed it in his mouth swallowing it whole. His eyes reddened then he burped fire. He ran around the table in circles as fire spewed from his mouth. "AHHH WATER WATER!!" Raph took it literally, as he dumped water over his head some fell in his mouth. He gasped feeling the spiciness go away. You laughed hysterically but fixed up more mild sushi for Mikey so it could take the lingering taste from his buds. You even made tempura just for him, his brothers fought him for a piece but you whisked it away only giving them to Mikey. As a gift back to you, Mikey made you something. Something you had to chug and pinch your nose for. Luckily the day was spent with the family having satisfied pallets. Master Splinter especially was grateful he could try a full course meal of Japanese food again.

However, by nightfall, a familiar pain occurred in your stomach. There was also a feeling of boredom and an unknown agitation welling inside you. You got up to go use the bathroom and that's when a wave struck you, you hurried to your room for your bag and ran to the bathroom.

Occupied. 'Great' You knocked for the person on the other side to hurry up. The person who swung the door open was none other than Raph. He saw your face contorting into pain as you held your belly. "Was Mikey's pizza smoothie too much for ya?" You glared at him, rushing in and slamming the door.

He shrugged it off thinking it was your antics again or that you ate something bad last night.

You hurriedly placed the feminine product, relieved finally. But the pain worsened as time went on. You groaned loudly slumping on the couch. Trying to get in a position that wouldn't hurt. "WHYYYYY" you muffled your voice in the cushions. 'It explains why I was breaking out so bad this week.' Your thoughts bantered about how women must endure such pain but still do it somehow. 'If men got their periods, everyone would get a few days off every month.' you laughed at yourself, if only. A few minutes went by silently, you felt something against your cheek as your face was buried in the pillow under you.
