The city of New York felt particularly quieter this evening. As April took a shortcut through the alleyways to get to her destination faster. She could sense someone or something was following her. A wisp passed above her on the roofs then the sounds slowly made their way down closer to her. She turns around in an instant, whipping out her tessen. "I know you're following me. Come out so I can see you!" she opens it showing the symbol in the middle, a very intimidating front making her stalker nervous from coming out behind the trash bins. She tosses her tessen behind the trash can which reveals her stalker's identity, they landed on the hard sidewalk. "Donnie?"
He leaned up making a pose while resting his head on one hand. "Funny us both passing through this shady back alley at the same exact time, huh?" he got up picking up her tessen. "So, um, h-how have you been?"
She grabs it from him. "Oh, you know, the usual. Homework, chess club, dealing with a father who turned into a homicidal mutant bat."
"April, it wasn't completely our fault. But I'm sorry that-"
"Not as sorry as I am! I want to be left alone, Donnie. No more talking mutants in my life. 'except Kaneko.' I never want to see you again!"
"April. Some things are just beyond our control." April gives him a reluctant look and leaves. Donnie looks down in shame and is heartbroken.
He comes back to the lair sitting on the ledge of the couch. "Unleash mighty super robo mecha laser-force energy blast now!" Captain Coolstar ordered the team, blazing away an alien. The team cheers in victory.
"Hmm, why not laughter and merriment, Princess, eh?" Professor Blip asks his love interest.
"You have all forgotten my glorious royal birthday, Dr. Blip." She turns her head away. "I am hurt beyond all recognition." She presses buttons on her control panel, separating the leg of the robot from it. "I never want to speak to you agaaaaain!" she flies away into space.
"Princess Zeeeeee!" The professors calls her name.
"Whoa, dude. This show, like, totally paradoxes your life. Kinda owie in the corazon. That means heart." Mikey explains. You ignored their talk as you were busy combing our Kaneko's long hair.
"It's "parallels", and it does not, okay? It's just a cartoon." Donnie corrects his younger sibling.
"Besides, the Princess has quit the team, like, 27 times." Leonardo says. "She always comes back."
"Yeah, but let's face reality." Raph interrupts the good things. "April's gone for good. We'll probably never see her again."
