Chapter 16: Golden eyes part 2

Yooo the book got 1.3k......OMG!! Thank you for everyone reading it. I sincerely appreciate it, it motivates me to continue working. Also, just a little fact, Kami or the wolf hybrid in this case is actually female. I have chapters where it has male pronouns. At first, I was going to keep it male but then I decided to change it. So Kami is in fact female gender unless she decides otherwise. She is my OC. One last thing, I made a mistake in the previous chapter, where Karai says, "Obey mutt" or something like that, I did not write that scene correctly so I'll go back and revise it. Enjoy the chapter!

The lab door opens, revealing Leonardo as he walks into the room. Master Splinter stayed in the living room attending to Raph while two people laid flat across Donnie's lab tables, still unconscious after a day. Your clothes were fried and tattered, so was the wolf child. Without April around they couldn't change you into something more comfortable, so they'd have to wait until you woke up. "Donnie, what's the analysis?"

Donnie was running blood tests under a microscope. "I don't believe this." He gasped on further inspection.

"What?"

"There's similarities between her and (y/n)s blood. I think the Krang transferred her blood into Kami. Wich is why she's hybrid now."

"Why would the Krang do that?"

"It's like they knew what her blood was capable off. This doesn't make any sense."

"It probably has something to do with her glowy red eyes!" Mikey popped up in between the brothers. "I brought food!" He opens a box of pizza. Both turtles has eyes wide. Mikeys right, why else would the Krang use your blood. They knew what it's capable off. But for what? Donnie took a slice and ate it as he worked. Then Mikey left back to the living room.

Leonardo sat beside you. "What are you not telling us?" His voice fell on deaf ears. Your hand twitched involuntarily as it still felt the sensation of the volts. He clasped your hand holding it in his own. The red glow this time wasn't a flicker of imagination it was a real thing.

"She probably doesn't know herself Leo, we'll just ask her when she wakes."A growl drew Leo from his thoughts. The little girl had awoken. Her wolf ears flicking everywhere, tail swishing. "Oh, your awake." Donnie started. Her hair frizzled up while she growled at Donnie. "Your safe here, we won't harm you." Donnie pointed towards you to make his point. The girl's tension decreased as she saw you lying next to her on the other table. The subtle beeping of devices was sounded out by a stomach grumbling, as she clutched it with her hand. Sniffing the air from the familiar scent of pizza she rose up and approached a jar with the mutated pulverizer in it. She tapped it looking at him quizzically. Leo didn't trust the girl as she had harmed his brother and you but she could also still be being controlled by the foot. All of those set red flags for him, if they managed to control the girl yet again, she could give away their lair now that she's smelled it.

You groaned, hands clenching, Leo's eyes darted to your form. He let out a sigh from overthinking and took up your attitude of kindness. "Are you hungry?" he asked her, standing up from the chair. She was too shocked to answer so she simply nodded. "Cmon." Leo led her to the kitchen. As they passed the living room, the girl hid behind Leonardo and growled as she saw Splinter.

"Do not fear child Iam not a threat." He smiled. He was sitting next to a sleeping Raph, snoring loudly. The girl waved at the Rat teacher but hid behind Leo again, clinging to him. This behavior was not new, as Mikey did this often when they were younger.
