The tapping of buttons and familiar sounds of arcade games buzzed in your ears as you sat on the tire swing over the water. It was a relaxing spot you would usually go to often, to read or do anything else. You'd glance to see Mikey and Leo at the arcade games, Mikey trying his hardest to beat the boss fight. "Oh, yeah! Level 83, dude. I'ma flip it. No, no, no, no, no, no, no! It's Skullorax!"

"Eye beam! Use the eye beam!" Leo urges.

"I'm scared, man." he taps the buttons frantically. "What am I gonna do? Oh! No!" His ship got shot by the boss, ending the game. "I was so close, Leo so close." He slumped over the game.

"You did well, my son." Leo placed a hand on his shoulder. "Now watch a real Sensei at work." He pushed Mikey aside so he can get his chance at a higher score. But you didn't let that go when he called himself Sensei and cracked his neck getting into the game. You covered your face with the book trying to think of something else other than what happened the other night, you awakening snuggled in his neck.

"MIKEY!" Raph's voice came from his room then the slam of a door. "You got pizza stains all over my collection of Modern Ninja magazine." He came out with the magazine in hand and Spike on his shoulder. "They're ruined!"

"Dude, those things are, like, 20 years old. They're not exactly modern."

"They're vintage! It took me six years to collect 'em, six years!"

"Chillax, bro. I'll clean it for ya." Mikey takes the magazine and starts licking it. Annoyed, Raph puts down Spike on a plastic crate and takes the comic back, rolling it up to hit Mikey with it. "Ow!"

"You mess up everything, Mikey." Mikey's head sinks to the ground, eyes sad, feeling bad he did something but also feeling sorry.

"Chill Raph. Don't blame it all on Mikey." You flipped a page on your own (book/comic/magazine/sketchbook). Definitely, irking him.

Mikey stayed quiet as the other brother speaks up from the arcade machine. "It's just stuff, Raph, meager possessions. What does it matter?"

"What about your precious comic-book collection, huh? You always stick up for Mikey." He points the rolled-up comic at him. "Try seeing my point of view for once."

Leonardo continued playing the game. "I get it. I just think, like Master Splinter says, material possessions are fleeting."

"All right, enough!" Raph slams into the game knocking the cable in the back lose, turning it off. "I'm tired of you three. You're always messing up, and I got to pay for it." he grumbles going to the punching bag.

"Three? Are you implying me Raph?" You said getting of the tire swing to join the dispute.

"No, I meant Donnie." he punches the bag starting to relieve his steam.

"He hasn't done anything though." you said.

When you finished that sentence the lair got filled with colorful fireworks, they started exploding all over the place. "What's ah! Wha-"Leo hid somewhere.

Kaneko was frantic as she stood from the TV and came running to you. You held her in your arms and headed for the kitchen as a firework exploded on the book you were just reading.

"Hit the deck!" Mikey hides somewhere. "My pizza!" It exploded. More fireworks flash by. "We're under attack!".Mikey then hid near the couch.

You hid behind the counter, shaking, as the flashing lights reminded you of electricity. Kaneko whined she tried to shrink into you as much as possible.

"Spike!" You flinched hearing Raph call his pet's name. "No!" A firework was going towards the little turtle and Raph saves him from being killed. He rolls on the ground, opening his arms, Spike poked his head out of his shell. "Aw. Hey, there, little guy. You okay, Spike? You're all good." he pets the turtle's shell. "Old Raph won't let anything happen to you." He placed him back on his shoulder.
