"Another day, another Kraang hunt." Mikey grew bored in the ShellRaiser nothing has been happening tonight. He spun in his chair, sighing from complete boredom. You could relate to him, nothing has been happening the past few nights. You were currently on your phone texting someone regarding a sword.

A flashback from a few nights ago came back to you. The way Leo's eyes were staring into your own....it felt nice. His lips were close to my face...unwillingly you touched your lips as if trying to imagine something.

"(Y/n)?" Donnie snapped you from your daze.

"Huh? Oh, what is it Donnie?" You put your phone away.

"You look a little red, do you have a fever?"

You placed the back of your hand on your forehead, "Nope don't think so" apart from being the best mechanic and scientist, Donnie studied the human body and is well versed in it. He would notice the smallest things about your health, reminding you to take care of yourself, like drink more water. (Small break for reader out there, go drink water) He stood from his station bracing himself on the wall and placing his free hand on your forehead.

"You seem fine. I can check you thoroughly when we get back to the lair, i-if you'd like of course" he stuttered.

"I'm fine for now, thanks Doc"

"Is she ok D?" Leo asked from the driver's seat.

You smiled. "She's fine"

"She's must've not eaten enough before we left." Raph commented with a teasing hint in his tone. You threw a random can at his head. "I'm not getting you pizza Raph".

Leo turned his head to see your face, worried you were actually sick but he saw you pouting instead. A dorky smile appeared on his lips but none of you saw as he turned back to the road.

After the ramen night you had with him, Leo would catch you training without rest. He'd hear your door creak in the middle of the day or night to train in the dojo. It had become more frequent, and that made him worry about your overall sleep.

What he didn't know was that your starting to have insomnia from everything that's happened. You'd grow restless on your bed, tossing and turning but never drifting to sleep. The stress and anxiety never appeared behind your smile, it just came off naturally. That and the irregular sleep schedule overall was still hard to get used to. But somehow with coffee or a sugary drink, you had enough energy to still do patrol and missions.

"Hey, Raph!" Mikey exclaimed jumping on Raph's shoulder, startling him. "Fire the weapons!" he leaned over him pointing at the launchers.

"I don't think so."

"See, that's your problem. If I was in charge of weapons, I'd be firing at things all the time. That mailbox, blam. That newsstand, boom. That port-a-potty,"

"Oh eww," you gagged at the thought of an exploding port-a-potty.

Leo says that's precisely the reason, "And that's why you're not in charge of the weapons. Now get back to your station and tell me which way to go."

Because Mikey has navigation you sat in the back of the ShellRaiser waiting for a crime to happen. Occasionally, you'd sit on the rooftop for a better view and fresh air.

Kami wasn't with you this evening you told her to keep guard of April, with the whole Shredder and Krang after her, she texted you she left to train with Splinter somewhere, taking Kami with her. You were really glad you had Kami, she helped you during patrols, using her nose to sniff out the Krang, and she was the only one that saw how restless you were when trying to sleep.
