MINOR GORE WARNING, IF YOU CANT HANDLE BLOOD OR THOUGHTS OF IT. DONT READ OR SKIP THE PART WHERE I RIGHT WARNING AGAIN.
The distinct aroma of pine entered your lungs, gentle swishing sounds, like the rustling of leaves in the trees. A leaf fell on your head, you peer up to where it had come from, there were newly sprouting buds on the branches. The trees that were ever frozen in winter's embrace were now being let go, allowed to thrive and flourish once more, just like a person.
Rays of mellow light penetrated through the leaves and onto the humid soil under your feet. The raw, earthy scent of wet mud reached your open nostrils, making you feel one with the wilderness. As you take a deep breath it was like being in the beginning of spring.
"(Y/n)." the leader calls out for you. He walked up to you from behind his lovely blue eyes being cascaded with the tree leaves reflection. "What are you standing around for silly?" He held your hand in a comforting way, bringing warmth to your entire being. The encounter was shocking, Leo was awake and well in front of you, smiling as if nothing had happened. You suddenly embraced him, worried he'll leave your grasp anytime soon.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry I-" he shushed you soothingly and held you like you could break any second. He rested his large palm on your cheek and you happily leaned into it. He smiled at the action as if missing the feeling of skin contact with you. He parted the hug and began to walk with you in the woodland forest.
You both admired as spring was upon the forest making everything seem alive again. However, there were remnants of the winter season, faded leaves crunched under your feet as you continued to move forward with him.
Like the seasons of the year, life changes frequently and drastically. You enjoy it or endure it as it comes and goes, as it ebbs and flows. (Burgess Meredith)
But the flow has stopped, it meets an endpoint where things are looking slim and will not become enjoyable. He stops in front of you and turns towards you his mouth opening to speak, he hesitated. Nonetheless, he brought his words out in front of you.
"Wake up," he says with pain lingering in his voice, for you both do not want to leave the peaceful place. "You'll die if you dont leave" his demeanor saddens. You refuse to wake up from this pleasant moment, refusing to let him go but his hand slowly drifts from yours. His eyes locked on yours, wide and wild but they showed sorrow. He disappeared - simply disappeared, not a shadow in sight, into the woodlands, leaving you alone.
"Don't go" you pulled back your hand to muffle a sob.
You're pushed out of the dream only to awake laying on the ground and on your back, your head was hurting. Drowsily, your eyes began to open again and a tear escapes your exhausted face. 'What was I dreaming about?' you sat back up, holding your head. "Ugh, what happened?"
"YYAAAAA! YOU CAN DO IT (Y/n)!!! YOU HAVE TO FIGHT ME NEXT!!" The voice of Gin Paing boomed throughout the arena.
You suddenly vomit feeling a disgusting feeling in your stomach. Were you hit one too many times in the gut? Intestines have emptied themselves from the disgusting food the cell chef made. "Huh? How did I-?" a screech blared in front of you, your tail whipped around.
'You were in the middle of fighting these things.'
'How did they not hurt me?'
'I controlled our tail while you blacked out.' The demon knew you were losing your control over them after each fight and it was only time until you could not hold her any longer.
You stood back up ready to face the horde of Krang humans. Your little blackout made you forget why you were even here in the first place, then you remembered, just before you entered the arena that conversation happened.
