"So Tangshens daughter became a mutant........" your mother uttered those words with profound sadness. "She did not deserve what had happened to her, she was just a baby at the time when she was stripped from her parents, her birth right..... (Y/n) you must find her. I cannot live knowing there was something I couldn't do for Tangshen's daughter. She was like a sister to me." a tear falls from her eye.

"I understand mother, I will find her."

Many people cry for different things. They were probably hurt deeply by someone they kept close to their heart, they made a mistake, they failed, they lost something important, breaking down, or they simply regret. For your mother it was most of those in one emotion. She felt the pain that she could not get out of her bed yet and help you in anyway. "Im a a useless parent." she says.

Your hand rests on top of hers, as she cries silently. However, from her silent tears, there was strength. She was not giving up on Karai and neither would you.

You'd remember the moment she genuinely smiled and laughed with her true family. Or the way her cheeks were like a chipmunk, full from eating the food you made. "You are not useless. You are more than that mother. You always tell me I'm an amazing person and daughter, I would not be that person without you. I wouldn't be here to do the same for Karai. To support her willingly despite what she is." your hand tightly holds her's as she starts to smile. "You raised me from day one knowing what I was, that alone teaches me to not lose hope on others." She pulls your hand and brings you in for a hug.

"My child. Never lose sight of who you are...... never let your inner demons control you and never succumb to your false desire." she gives you that advice to save it in your memory and think upon it, should something ever happen or because she doesn't want the world to change how incredible you are. You bid your mother farewell. "And thank you for the gyoza the other day." she wipes her snotty nose but still waves and smiles.

"Thank you mother, for buying those gyoza for me ever since I was a kid." you silently leave through the window where a morphed Kaneko was waiting for you up top. "We have our mission, Kaneko. Find Karai and offer her our support. Are you ready for long nights of searching in the cold weather?" you ask the wolf child seriously.

She looks at you and then flops onto her back with her belly upwards. Whining for a belly rub. You sigh and chuckle. "You're ready for anything I suppose." She flips back over and you hop on her back to start your search.

You searched and searched each night. And the pressure on finding her was like a ticking bomb. If Shredder should capture Karai he could brainwash her or even let the Krang have her. It was all possible if it came to the Shredder.

But that was not all, Splinter, he was miserable after Karai had mutated. You and Leo would check up on him at times. It's not to say he wasn't taking care of himself or stopped doing his normal activities, it's just his daughter is the only thing he thinks about. And seeing him sunken in spirit and happiness affected the whole team.

Yet you still come up with nothing. "It would be easier to find the five family mafias than Karai." you state, clearly tired as you laid over Kaneko's back. "Are you tired yet?" she shakes her head no. "I hope the others have better luck."

Meanwhile, with said others. April was patrolling the rooftops using binoculars to search farther alleyways. But she loses focus when the two teenagers are coming over.

"That is not true. I've gone through years of intense physical training. Ninjas are some of the most skilled athletes on the planet." Donnie jumps to the next building on the railings and flips upwards like a pro. He lands perfectly then sends a smoldering look to April.
