"You miss me?" a [h/c] haired man sneered as the netherite barrier slid back down into the obsidian floor. Allowing the man to walk closer to the prisoner. Dream frowned. He didn't think he would come and visit him. He was the last person he wanted to see.

"[Name]. What are you doing here?" He sternly asked his friend, avoiding any eye contact. "To see my best...friend. Of course," The male replied. That pause in his sentence made Dream overthink. A hint of shame could be felt from it. Dream looked up to see a tired-looking [Name], eyes dull, eyebags were worst than before. The bright aura he held was no longer there. Dream could figure out why. It was obvious. Though, there may be another reason.

"Now you've seen me. So get out," The dirty blonde head grunted, clenching his jaw. "Let me talk to you,"

"Then spill," A long uncomfortable silence took over as they stood there, looking right at each other. [Name] sighed and looked away. "You deserve this,"

"And what's your point?"

"..This... This is karma getting back at you. Because you hurt us. Sapnap, George. Everything went downhill ever since you dethroned George. He lost trust. He felt betrayed. Sapnap, he's been just- he just doesn't like you anymore," [Name] said as he glanced back at the shorter male. He took a deep breath. "And me? I don't know! You fucked us up. We've could've been.. more, closer," he whispered the last bit. Dream's eyes widened and quietly muttered; "What?"

"Remember how I told the team where I could see a red thread tied to my pinky? Well, it's gone. I-It lost connection. And I hate to know the reason why,"

"... What's..the reason?"

"You," he paused. Dream looked at him in shock. "Ever since you started to plot these villainous acts just to get the power-- the power for everyone to be under your control! And it was also the day where I finally decided to tell you who the string was connected to," the [h/c]-nette ended off. Placing his hand on Dream's head, gently patting it. A small sad smile crept up his [s/t] face. Dream stared at him, appalled. "It's me isn't it?" Dream whispered. The taller male nodded and sighed. Letting go of the dirty blonde head, he tapped on the beak of the communication crow as to signal a voice message for Sam.

After he left a voice message saying he was ready to go, he tapped the beak of the crow once again to send it. A few minutes later, [Name] heard a click. The lava behind him starts to slowly fall.

"Wait you're leaving?"

"Why? Didn't you want me to leave a few moments ago?"

"I-! I change my mind! I want you to stay here. Please," Dream desperately called out, gripping the back of [Name]'s shirt when the said male turned to leave. The [h/c] head hovered his hand over the other, gently taking it away from his shirt.

The lava was completely fallen and the platform arrived quickly. [Name] brought Dream's hand to his lips and softly kisses it. He then pushes him away behind the netherite barrier which was now back up. "Sorry Dream. I have to stay away from you now. If you didn't cause this, the thread would be still there. We could've been so much more. But I guess.." He said as he stepped on the moving platform.

"It was never meant to be,"
