**TRIGGER WARNING**
I cheer as the empty beer bottle I just threw at the wall shatters on impact. It's almost nine in the morning and I still haven't slept. I don't want to. Lately my dreams have been filled with either Karl or imaginary Little Mix performances. Either way, I end up waking up feeling emptier than I did the night before which I didn't know was possible. My head throbs and I debate taking another pill. Including the two I took right after Clarke left, I'm on number five already. I decide against it for the time being, feeling pretty content with my buzz.
My phone has been going off uncontrollably. Dr Richards finally reached out to Sam, who in turn reached out to my mam and the girls to see if anyone had heard from me. They've been blowing up my notifications nonstop to the point that I let it run out of charge last night. I check it on my nightstand and figure that sixty-five percent is fine for now and take it out to the living room with me.
My messaging app is maxed out on notifications and I have over fifty missed calls. I don't bother looking at any of them as I assume they're all along the same lines of a mixture of "are you okay" and "where the hell are you?" Instead I go into Twitter through the bands page and what I see in the notifications almost makes me drop my phone.
A Look into Jade Thirlwall's Life Without Little Mix
Breaking: Syco rumored to be dropping Little Mix upon completion of their world tour due to difficulties with Thirlwall
Exclusive Interview with Little Mix Insider: What Has Jade Thirlwall been up to?
To make matters worse, the hashtag #StandByLM, is trending. I close out Twitter to avoid accidentally interacting with something and quickly Google Little Mix. I hit the first article that pops up and it just so happens the be The Daily Mail. It's the exclusive interview.
According to an inside source in the Little Mix's camp, Jade Thirlwall has not been doing good since being relieved of band duties just three weeks prior. Thirlwall took a leave of absence from the popular girl group after a bombshell interview with ex-boyfriend Clarke Murphy revealed the dangerous state of the pop star's mental health. Since returning home, Jade has been attending therapy sessions from the comfort of her and bandmate Perrie Edward's flat in East London.
The source claims that the singer, who rose to fame from winning the singing competition The X Factor in 2011, hasn't been doing well in her self-induced isolation. They say Thirlwall's days are mainly spent bouncing between Netflix and drinking among other things.
"At least when Jade was on tour she was occupied. Now she's free to do whatever she feels like and it's obvious that she's been doing so."
The source says the stars apartment is littered with empty bottles of wine and spent cigarette butts. They also make the claim that her mental health has significantly deteriorated since returning home.
"She's been self-harming a lot and using substances to numb herself."
Seeing as how Thirlwall was taken off the tour to focus on her mental health, this raises several alarming questions, the most important one: Is Jade okay?
Little Mix's management team, Modest! Management, have yet to comment.
I sigh in frustration. "Son of a fucking bitch," I mutter understand my breath.
I quickly pull up my messaging app and create a thread with Clarke. Since he's blocked, I won't get his messages but he'll surely get mine.
Jade: Seriously? After all that bullshit last night about how you care and you're so freaking sorry and the second you leave you go right back to the press? Good to know I'm just a payday for you. Stay the fuck away from me and anyone I know or I'm filing a restraining order.
