"Oi! Get your lazy ass up," Jesy says, poking my face.

I groan and unbundle myself out of a ball. It takes me a second to realize that I'm still in my bunk on the bus and Jesy has her face inches from mine.

"That's a terrifying sight to wake up to," I mumble while running my hand through my hair.

"Oh fuck off," she laughs. "We just got into New York. You've slept half the way."

"And why are you waking me up?" I question, pushing her away and hopping out of my cozy bubble.

"Because I've decided that we're changing things up. No more moping around. No more slipping off to be by yourself. You're in the middle of a world tour and you're going to enjoy yourself or at least die trying."

Dying doesn't sound so bad right now.

"So that means I'm still allowed on nights out then?"

"Against my better judgement, yes. But you aren't leaving my side and Paul will most likely come and babysit you. Come on. We're playing Monopoly with Claude and Danielle."

I let her grab my arm and drag me off my bunk and into the back room, knowing that fighting Jesy is as pointless as fighting a pissed off bear. She's definitely the most stubborn of us once her mind is set. Plus, she's got me by at least ten pounds of muscle. When we get to the room, I see they've already set everything up, indicating that they debated waking me up or not. Can't say I blame their hesitation. I'm not the most delightful to be around at the moment and my lack of intoxication is not helping.

I grab a water out of the mini fridge and sit down next to Pez, still fighting sleepy yawns. She looks over at me and smiles.

"Feel better?"

I shrug. "I guess. Just disoriented. Honestly, I just want to go back to bed."

"Not an option!" Jesy shouts from across the couch. "Now let's get this going. Prepare to eat shit."

The ensuing chaos that the game is able to cause over the next two hours is insane. Screams, tears and nearly blood is shed on multiple occasions. At numerous points throughout it, I'm almost certain Perrie is about to rage quit or Leigh-Anne is going to flip the board. Even Claude gets heated at one point when Jesy manages to get him to bid £70 over the original price of a property by driving up the auction. In the end, I end up winning by just barely outlasting Pez.

"This is complete bullshit! Danielle, you fucked me over. That's the only reason I lost. This game is stupid," she huffs, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Not my fault you can't budget properly," I smirk.

"I'm starving. I'm gonna go ask Paul when we are stopping for dinner," Jesy says standing.

Danielle goes with her, leaving the three of us and Claude to finish up cleaning the room. Within five minutes, we have everything straightened up and back where it belongs and find ourselves sitting in a circle on the floor.

"If you don't mind me asking, what was going on earlier with Paul?" Claude asks.

Perrie and Leigh look to me, as if to get permission to let him in on everything that's been going on.

"The label is threatening to pull me off the tour because of all of the bad press and the crap I've been pulling lately," I start. When I see Perrie raise her eyebrows at my omission, I add in the rest. "I have to do random drug tests and act like the bubbly, perfect pop star that they promote to the world or I'll be on the next flight to London and we potentially get dropped."

Claude's face registers a look of shock and his mouth hangs open, unsure of what to say.

"That's...fuck mate, that's just messed up. Can't you just say fuck it and go home? Get the help you need and all?" he finally says.
