"Welcome back to Capital FM with Roman Kemp. I am the lovely Roman Kemp and today we are joined in the studio by Little Mix! Fresh off their European leg. How are you girls feeling? Doing well today?"

Roman beams a smile at us and all of us chuckle, trying to play along with the lighthearted air in the studio. He's always been good with keeping the mood light and helping us out during his interviews. Plus, he gives us a lot of good press.

"We're good, just a bit tired so be prepared for a delirious Little Mix today," Jesy says, pulling her Australian accent.

"Yeah, we took the red-eye last night. Got in at about two and woke up at six to be ready to do this lovely chinwag," I add, laughing.

Roman laughs. "Well, I'm honored, to say the least. Now, Jade, I notice there's no sling. Does that mean what I think it means?"

"Yes! I'm all cleared and ready to go. No more restrictions or anything," I reply smiling.

The girls cheer and clap along to this. The last two weeks have been a struggle. On top of being out of it during interviews because of the pain meds, it took four shows for me to get the new blocking down for choreo and costume changes were a nightmare. We had to change it so that I only had two outfit changes and had to make sure they matched everyone else's. I also haven't been the easiest person to be around. The number of times I've had to apologize to one of the girls or a member of our team for snapping and being aggressive is rather ridiculous.

"And how's it feeling? Any pain?" he asks.

"Just a little stiffness and soreness. I'm sure the choreography isn't going to feel good but you gotta push through, you know?"

"I definitely don't. I get to sit in a studio all day and, while it's hard work and a lot of behind the scenes stuff, nothing too physically demanding. Now, I have to congratulate you girls on what's coming up for you next week. You're first headlining tour in America! We excited? What's taken so long?"

Instantly, all three heads turn to me. The topic of why we haven't toured in America is touchy. It's something we'd been pushing for years but our label hadn't really promoted us properly there.

"Yeah, we're very excited. It's something we've been wanting for a while so to finally have it...come to fruition is amazing."

"Fruition. I like that. Classy."

Roman doesn't call me out on averting his second question but he shoots me a knowing look with his eyes. The rest of the interview is spent telling funny stories from the tour, what we're looking forward to the most, and how we are planning on spending our next four days off. Pez and I are heading back to South Shields for some family time while Leigh-Anne is planning on spending as much time as possible with Andre and Jesy is planning on sleeping her days away and turning off her phone.

All too soon our interview is over and we are outside of the studio hugging each other goodbye, then Leigh and Jes each get into different cars while Perrie and I climb into the same one. We're taking the same train back home and split the cost of a private cabin to avoid being bothered by people. We love the fans but right now we are done with people.

I pull my phone out and scroll through Instagram while Perrie's phone constantly chimes away with all of her texts. After five minutes of it regularly going off, I look over at her with my eyebrows raised.

"Sorry," she says sheepishly, turning her phone on silent.

"You're good," I say chuckling.

"Any plans for when you get home?"

My eyes fall at this as I think of what awaits me at home. "Ma wants to go through some of Karl's old stuff. Then I'm going to spend as much time with Leoni as possible. Shireen caught her sneaking back in the house drunk the other night."
