Slamming the book onto the table, I sigh once again as I read the spell in front of me. Four hours. Four long hours I've been reading these books on reality shifting. And what have I learnt? Not very much that I didn't already know. Loki is stood behind me, reading over my shoulder whilst Thor sits and watches us.
"Are you sure this is safe?" mumbles Loki stepping away from me and turning to face Stephen who is clearing a space in the centre of the room.
"Shut up Loki." shouts Thor as a smirk forms on his face. "This will be entertaining to watch." he chuckles as he takes a mouthful of the beer in his hand. Looking up from the book, I glare at Thor.
"Easy for you to say," complains Loki as he rolls his eyes. "You're not the one doing it." Closing the book, I turn to face Loki, shaking my head as I do so. Considering these two are my brothers, they have very little faith in me.
"Everything will be completely fine." I hiss. Although, I'm not completely convinced that it's the truth.
"Keep telling yourself that Abi and it might come true." Thor shakes his head as he takes another mouthful of beer. Does he really have no faith in me whatsoever?
"Whatever you do please don't kill me." mumbles Loki as he takes the book from the table and rereads it.
"Thank you both so much for having faith in me." I say sarcastically, rolling my eyes as I head over towards Stephen. "It's so reassuring."
"You do realise Loki probably won't come back whole." comments Thor as he takes a sip from his beer. Rolling my eyes, I glare at him. He really does think I'm totally useless doesn't he?
"I better do." demands Loki as he raises his eyebrows and turns to face me. Great, now Thor's made Loki worried.
"We could always practice on Thor."
I suggest, crossing my arms against my chest as I turn to face Thor. "You know teach him a lesson for not believing in me." I comment as Thor glares at me."I quite like that idea." chuckles Stephen from behind me as he walks across to my side and glares at Thor.
"Yeah so do I." agrees Loki, his tone more serious than mine and Stephen's.
"You wouldn't dare to wizard." hisses Thor as he breaks eye contact with me and begins glaring at Stephen.
"Is that a challenge?" asks Stephen, stepping forwards towards Thor as his head tilts to a side. Putting my arm out, I stop him from walking any closer and making one of the biggest mistakes of his life.
"How about we just get this over with?" I mumble as I walk away from Thor and towards Loki, my face becoming very serious.
"Yeah I agree." says Stephen as he follows me, stopping a few feet from where me and Loki stand as he crosses his arms across his chest and perches on the edge of the table.
"Okay Loki, close your eyes and give me your hand." I demand as I extend my own arm, reaching for Loki's hand.
"Please be careful." complains Loki as he takes my hand cautiously and I begin the spell. After several moments, me and Loki disappear from sight and are transported out of the room.
"Did that just work?" questions Thor, shock evident in his voice as he leans forward in his chair, looking closer at the space where me and Loki stood moments ago.
"I think so yeah." replies Stephen as he too looks at the space me and Loki were stood. Thor stands up, walking across to where Stephen is stood and fiddling with one of the relics in the room.
"So..." says Thor as he looks up from fiddling with the relic. "whilst they're gone, what's going on between you and Abi?" he asks curiously as he looks directly at Stephen.
