Sand surrounds me as the team are dropped from the sky, each one of us groaning as we tumble to the floor. Shaking my head, my eyes slowly flutter open as I grimace against the light that shines down on us. A figure towers over me as I cover my eyes with my hand, blocking out the sun so that I can make out who it is. Slowly my eyes begins to adjust to the light before I make out familiar build of Loki's figure as he offers me his hand, smiling down at me before glancing at our surroundings.

"Where in the nine realms are we?" Loki asks as I glare up at him, pushing his hand away before pulling myself up off the ground and dusting off the sand that clings to my body.

"Thanks to you I have absolutely no clue." I hiss as I glance at our surroundings, only sand and dust in my view line. My eyes land on a hill on the far side of the field we seem to be in, my eyes making out the shadow of a small figure causing my brows to furrow together.

"How is it my fault?" Loki asks, his voice high pitched and squeaky as he turns to face me, a hurt puppy dog expression on his face that causes me to roll my eyes at him.  "If you hadn't been so stupid as to try and leave in the first place none of this would've happened." he points out as he smirks to himself, raising his eyebrows at me whilst I open my mouth in shock.

"We'd have never been there if you hadn't been so reckless with the tesseract so that my father could easily take it." I hiss at him,my attention falling from the figure on the rock to Loki. Crossing my arms across my chest, I narrow my eyes at him before they glow brightly for a brief moment of time.

"He'd never have taken it if you hadn't lied to me and manipulated my memories so that I thought I could trust you." Loki argues as I step close to him so that our faces are practically touching. Whilst I glare up at him, the smirk on his face growing wider as I take a deep breath, my hands forming fists at my side.

"Well, maybe you shouldn't have been so stupid as to share the location of something so valuable to anyone." I argue, a glow beginning to surround the two of us, my magic buzzing in the air as Loki's confidence begins to fade. His head shrinks further into his shoulders as he swallows hard.

"Oh, I'm stupid." Loki chuckles before pointing his finger at me, jabbing me in the chest hard whilst his jaw locks tightly. "You trusted Hela and Thanos. You were their own personal murderer." Loki points out causing I stumble backward, the magic fading away as my eyes drop down to the floor. I open my mouth to say something only for nothing to come out, instead my nose begins to tingle, my eyes watering.

"Ouch." I whisper as I look up at Loki, my eyes full of tears as I press my lips together, biting my tongue in an attempt to hold back the tears that threaten to spill over. Noticing what he's said, Loki takes a deep breath, reaching forwards until his fingers brush against my skin as I turn my back on him. "Don't," I whisper whilst I shake my head, clawing at my eyes with the back of my hand as I wipe the tears from my eyes before taking a deep breath and turning to face Tony. "And can I just say I'd never have met Thanos if it wasn't for his parents abandoning me at birth."

"Our parents wouldn't have left without a good reason." Tony argues, putting emphasis on the 'our' as he once again reminds me that we're family. Shaking my head, I glance over the rest of the team, my eyes landing on Peter, Pietro, and Wanda who smile weakly at me. At least they understand what I'm going through. After all, they all grew up without their parents.

"Nobody has a good reason for abandoning their child in the middle of nowhere," I whisper, my eyes still fixed on the three of them as the tears begin to flow again, my guard falling down as the numbness takes over. Nobody has ever heard my story before, heard how I ended up with Thanos. Even Hela didn't know.

"I'd argue that if they were about to die then they'd have a pretty good reason." Thor adds, shrugging his shoulders as Loki shoots him a warning glance. Thors word sinking in, I blink a few times before turning to face Thor. What did he say? My parents aren't dead. The last time I saw them, they were very much alive.
