Scorpio was overworking herself and I could see it. I knew what people looked like when they were overworking themselves, as I often did so. She had huge bags under her eyes, and her hair looked like a rat's nest. I could see her dozing off in class, she may not have been falling asleep but, she was zoned out.

It was May, so we went to Taurus's house to do our homework and study, so right after that, I stopped Scorpio on her way to her house.

"Scorpio, I don't have any easy way to say this, but you're exhausted. I can see, I know for a fact everyone else notices. You don't even come to our weekly sleepovers, and in the rare instances you do, you fall asleep way too fast." I say matter-of-factly.

"Cap, I need to train, you guys may not have to take the entrance exam, but I do. And if I fail, you all fail. I don't have it as easy as you, this is a lot of pressure. I know this is how you feel a lot, but I've never felt this pressure before. The only time I've ever felt like this was before all our parents died. After that, I never took on many responsibilities after they died, I never wanted to feel pressured to do anything much after they died. After everything I went through with my father, I didn't want to feel pressured like that again. But now I am, and I have to train, I don't want to let anyone down. And if I don't do this, I'll feel like I let my mother down, not to mention you guys. So, I'm sorry if you're worried about me, but I need to pass." Scorpio rants. I understood why she felt pressured, but she still needed to rest.

"I understand, but you still need to think about yourself, your own needs. Promise me you'll try." I say, and Scorpio nods, and without another word, she goes into her house and slams the door.

I was never extremely good at confrontations, even if I was a waiter. Even though most of us have a trust fund set up by our parents, my family was always poor. I vowed as soon as I was old enough I would get a job and help them. Even though all our families died I kept my promise to myself, and even though we had a bunch of money, I still wanted to work for some of it. I reminded everyone weekly that we don't have unlimited money, and we already spent some of it, with the houses, clothes, food, and taxes. There was so much that they didn't take into account, but if Scorpio didn't manage to make us heroes, and we someday end up on the streets, they would thank me, for taking the waitress job, and we would have enough money to move in together.

But enough of my ranting, I needed to get changed into my waitress clothes, I could study and finish my homework at work. When my shift begins not a lot of people come in, so I can get finish my homework and get some studying in.

But the whole time I couldn't focus. I knew Scorpio had promised to get some rest, but I knew Scorpio had a habit of breaking her promises.

It was late when I got back, but it was the perfect time to check if Scorpio had followed through on her promise. Instead of going into my house, despite how tired I was, I made my way to Scorpio's backyard, knowing she always left her backyard door to her house open.

She wasn't in her backyard, which was good because she changed it into a training center. With bars and mats, it looked like an outdoor dojo! I opened the door to her house and saw that all of the lights on the bottom floor were turned off which was good since that meant she was probably in bed, and not eating.

I made my way up to Scorpio's room after checking every room on the top floor is dark. My face fell when I saw a small light coming out from the bottom of Scorpio's door to her room.

I open the door quietly and almost start ranting about how she promised to get some rest but stopped myself seeing that Scorpio was sleeping. She was on her bed, with all her clothes on, on top of her comforter. Her phone was on her chest, it had turned off from time. Scorpio's arms were spread out like a star, and her legs were bent.

I took out a blanket and put it over Scorpio, and turned off the light in her room, and made my way down to my own house.

When I got to my house I was drop-dead tired, but also starving. My house was dizzying at times, but I finally found the kitchen, and quickly took out some ingredients for a hot dog. I quickly warmed up a hot dog and took out some buns. I quickly got out mustard and ketchup, drizzling the sauces all over my hot dog.

I ate in eerie silence, it was always scary like this at night, I didn't mind though. After finishing my hot dog I made sure everything was clean and neat inside my kitchen. I hated things that were dirty, or messy.

By the time I finished everything and had cleaned up after myself, it was almost midnight. After changing out of my clothes I threw them in a neat pile by my bed and decided against taking a shower.

It took me less than 30 seconds to fall asleep the second I hit my soft mattress.

A/N: I know this chapter was a bit short, and you want to get to the plot already but I'm going to drag this out. I'm going to dedicate chapters to people whose Zodiac sign it is. I am a Capricorn, and I'm going to try and dedicate this chapter to me >:)
