Midway through my fight with Scorpio, everything became...fuzzy. I couldn't remember much after she pinned me down. Something in my neck ached though. I don't remember who came outside to help me inside. I'm pretty sure the person took me to bed since Recovery Girl hasn't moved into the UA teacher apartment. In the morning I woke up and the side of my neck ached, but I assumed it was just because I slept on it wrong, or maybe Scorpio landed a  blow there and it was particularly hard.

In the middle of English, both Scorpio and I were called out of class and found ourselves in the guidance counselors office. We both don't know who the guidance counselor is, and they were still having breakfast or doing some errands as they weren't in their office.

Scorpio sat down on one of the two couches facing each other without hesitation upon noticing that the guidance counselor wasn't in their office, even though there were three chairs that we could sit in to wait. I looked at the couch that Scorpio was sitting on. She was leaning on one of the arms of the couch and scrolling on her phone. Normally, I would try to say something, but Scorpio was completely ghosting me. She pretended as if I wasn't there. At all. Any loud noises I would make she would completely disregard, not even giving so much as a glance in my direction.

I looked hesitantly between the couch and chairs and decided to sit down at the opposite end of the couch than Scorpio. She was in some sort of weird funk, and it wasn't anywhere near the death date of our parents, and that was when she usually got all scatty, so I don't know what's going on with her now. I stayed off my phone, waiting for the guidance counselor patiently, unlike Scorpio who was using her phone, drumming her fingers on the arm of the couch, and tapping her foot, the latter being signs of her impatience, but other than that she kept her face completely blank.

When the door to the room opened, Scorpio jerked her neck up to see who it was, looking on with rapt attention, and turning her phone off. I turned to look and saw that it was the dog-like dude. Hound Wolf. Or something to do with canine animals.

He was cleaning the rest of the meat off of a chicken bone, before throwing it into the trash. He swiftly sat down in the couch in front of the two of us. He started by introducing himself. His name was Hound Dog. Even though he was, well, a dog, he didn't sound like one, except for his voice having a deep dog-like undertone, and I suspected he would growl to show that he didn't like something subtly, and bark when he didn't want to be so subtle.

Then he asked us our names, even though he knew. I introduced myself first, and Hound Dog and I waited in awkward silence for Scorpio to present herself. She sighed and begrudgingly introduced herself. "Now that we're acquainted, can one of you explain to me what happened?" Hound Dog gave a slight bark at the end and looked between the two of us.

When Scorpio didn't say anything, I opened my mouth to speak but she cut me off. "Well, Aries broke up with Leo, and she didn't like that, so she needed someone to blame so she said that he was starting to act differently around me, and I was the reason he broke up with her. She challenged me to a fight, and I won." That was it? That sounded accurate, but it felt like something was missing...

"Now, Leo tell me your side of the story." He said, turning to me.

"Well, like Scorpio said I got mad that Aries dumped me, but I didn't just randomly blame Scorpio, and pick a fight with her for no reason. I got mad because ever since this one day in middle school, Aries has been paying more attention to Scorpio than normal. Looking at her when he thought no one was looking, talking nicer, having fewer fights, all of that, and then... he dumped me." I explained.

"What happened during the fight?" Hound Dog pressed.

"After Scorpio got me in her hold, I struggled out of it, and then about mid-way through the fight everything became fuzzy, and the last thing I remember was laying on the floor. Someone came out to carry me to my room, but that's all I remember." I finished

"Scorpio do you know why Leo doesn't remember anything?" Hound Dog asked her as if he knew that she did something.

"Nope." She shrugged.

"Your classmates say that after you came back you were acting strange." Hound Dog pushed.

"Just happy I beat Leo in a fight." She said simply, and I narrowed my eyes at her. Scorpio wasn't telling us something. She was normally secretive, but at least then she didn't bother to say that she wasn't hiding something. Now, there was something wrong, and I knew it. Hound Dog also knew that something was adding up, and he was trying to figure it out. But he didn't understand. Scorpio was so secretive she could hardly tell anyone she wasn't friends with information. If she wasn't mad at me I could probably pry it out of her, but she was completely ghosting me, and she wouldn't say anything to Sag. It was infuriating. But that's what Scorpio wants.

Scorpio wants me to be angry. To feel my skin boil, and my blood rush with anger. There was no way I was letting her win. So, we fire signs have a track record of letting our temper rule us. Hell, it had happened to me yesterday, but this time I would keep my temper, and my want for Scorpio to notice me in check. I could do that. Right?

A/N: It'll probably be a few more chapters before I continue onto the actual plot of the story because I want more tension and more relationship building.
