After all one hundred people passed phase two of the test began. We were instructed to watch the screen at the front of the room. It showed the testing area from an aerial view. Suddenly, explosions went off everywhere. I was confused for a second before it hit me. This was the second phase of the test. I looked closer at the screen to see there were people there.
The second phase of the test was rescue. Of course! It's so simple everyone overlooked it. One of the biggest parts of being a hero is rescue. Whenever any criminal committed a crime, there was almost always rescue to be done. Even if there was no rescuing to be done you still needed to check up on bystanders and civilians to see if everything was fine with them.
The walls and ceiling of the room opened up again. "Save every life you can!" Everyone dashed off as soon as we were given the cue to leave.
Midoriya wanted to go to the nearest sight and stick together. I agreed but there must be people who needed to be saved in the other areas.
Since we were pretty close to where the waterfall area was, I went over there. There were bound to be some people that were crushed by fallen debris and might've even fallen into the pool where the waterfall flows into.
When I got to the waterfall area there were already a few other people there, lifting debris, and wading underwater. My quirk would easily help them. I pushed all the water back, and it revealed several people that were previously lying underwater. Everyone turned to me, looking in awe. "Well, hurry up, there are hurt people over there." They all nodded frantically and turned back, running into where the pool of water was, helping up the people on the ground, and checking if they're okay.
Once all the people who were once in the sand were up and out of the pool, I let the water flood back into the pool. I took a break to unhook a newly added water bottle off of my belt and drink it all before putting it back and then moving some more debris to search for more people
Currently, I'm helping back a mother and her daughter to the infirmary area, I took the mother's hand so that if she feels unsteady she can rely on me. I put the daughter on my back. She was surprisingly light.
I get to the infirmary and someone rapidly swipes the mother and daughter, taking them to be treated. I turn to go back to the waterfall area when a giant explosion rocks the ground. I turn around to see Gang Orca, the number ten pro hero, and a people around him that I assume are his sidekicks behind him.
"The villains have shown up and they're on the move. You hero candidates on the scene will suppress the villain incursion." Mera announced. There was a pause before he continued. "All while continuing the rescue operation." Shit. This would be hard. They were testing our decision and teamwork skills. We had to get everyone safe, but we also had to make sure that Gang Orca and his sidekicks were suppressed long enough that everyone could leave and the first responders could get here.
Gang Orca releases shockwaves that paralyze everyone around him. Yoarashi and Todoroki step forward to fight him. Yoarashi lets out a wave of wind, and Todoroki lets out a wave of fire. The wind rises, and they start bickering. I notice Shindo, paralyzed on the ground from Gang Orca's earlier shockwaves. The fire is getting closer and closer to him.
I use my tail to launch myself forward and keep doing so until I'm next to Shindo. I pick him up as best as I can. This is the best time to try out a trick I've been practicing with my tail. I use the sharp tip at the end of my tail to prick Shindo, and if I did this right he should be getting feeling back into his muscles.
Shindo flexes his fingers and then makes a fist, looking down at his hands in awe. He stands up, his legs shaking a bit, but he's steady. At least now he can get out of the way of the fire quickly. I turn to Yoarashi and Todoroki. "WHAT ARE YOU IDIOTS DOING?! SHINDO WAS PARALYZED ON THE GROUND, AND YOU GUYS WERE SENDING A WAVE OF FIRE AT HIM! GET YOURSELVES TOGETHER OR STEP TO THE SIDE TO TALK IT OUT! NO NEED TO PUT EVERYONE IN DANGER BECAUSE YOU GUYS HATE EACH OTHER!" I scold them.
I go back to the evacuation area, my therapy work with Yoarashi and Todoroki is done. I'm carrying a small child to safety with Kaminari and Kirishima when Mera's voice floods my ears once again. "Ahem! Currently, every last H.U.C member on the field has been rescued from impending danger. Therefore I declare this test...is over!" I breathed a sigh of relief.
"Wait, just now?" Kaminari mused next to me. I chuckled.
"That means we're the reason the test ended. Everyone should thank us." I said. I looked to Bakugo. "Hey Bakugo, bow down to me." Bakugo turns around with an expression that is the epitome of anger on his face.
"Fuck no."
Mera continued talking about what we need to do, and that it would take a bit of time to tally up the scores and we need to change out of our hero costumes and then wait for a bit.
It turned out, the waiting was the worst part. Through this whole test, phase one and two, out of all of it, the worst part was waiting for the scores. It was such a relief when Mera finally called us.
"It's been a long time boys and girls, but now it's time for the results." Mera paused, he sure likes to stop and let us get anxious. "Before that though..." Mera continued, talking about the scoring system, and how we were graded on our methods of rescue, and how we reacted in a crisis.
Behind Mera, the board came alive, showing everyone who passed in alphabetical order. Normally, I looked for things using my first name, and I would normally go straight to the 'S' section, but they're using last names for this.
I scanned the list from the beginning. I kept looking until, at last, I found my name.
Akuro, Scorpius.
I never thought seeing my name would come with such relief and weight off my shoulders. I bounced over to Pisces, finding her looking near the second row for her last name, Hiko. After I made sure she passed I went over to Taurus, who was looking for his last name, Kusuru, he found it, and I saw the relief in his eyes. As if he thought he wasn't going to pass. I found Aquarius' last name, Ruji, and knew I didn't need to check upon him.
Without my own control, I turned and scanned the 'S' section, and deflated when I didn't find Supo, Aries' last name. I searched the crowd and my eyes found his dark head of hair in the crowd immediately. I made my way to him, not sure what I would do when I got to him, only knowing that I had to get to him.
When I got to Aries my already broken heart was destroyed a bit more. His expression was indifferent, but I could see pain and sorrow in his eyes. I didn't even know why I was acting like this. I hated Aries, and the old me would've laughed at him being upset, but now...I don't even know what I feel for him.

A/N: At first, I thought this wouldn't be much of a cliffhanger, but then I added on a bit and felt satisfied enough to post it.
