A Zodiac Hero [BNHA]

Chapter 30-Taurus

The aching in my head stopped when I woke up. But the entire time I was unconscious so were the Zodiac signs. Including Aries. I don't know what they're doing with him, but they better not be hurting him.

Back to my head. It feels like there's some sort of weird weight on it. I sit up, and carefully move my arms so that the tubes in my arms don't fall out, or something worse. I put my hands on my head to feel something is jutting out of my temples. I have no idea what it is, but I need to find out.

A nurse walked in and noticed me right away. She gave me a glass of water I didn't know I needed. The nurse was about to leave and call a doctor but I stopped her. "Um, can I have a mirror or something?" I asked her, she nodded and left the room.

The doctor was a man with a tree on his head. No, I'm serious. It's not a big tree. It looks like a bonsai tree but it smaller. About the size of a sapling. It was planted in the middle of his head. His hair is the same color as the tree leaves, a nice rich green, and he had big round glasses with a dark green rim. "My name is Doctor Ishi." He introduced himself and then noticed my stare at the sapling on his head. "Well, it looks like we're matching." The doctor smiles at me, but I'm horrified.

"I have a tree growing from my head?!" I exclaimed. I don't want to look like some sort of dendrophile!

Doctor Ishi chuckled, then shook his head. "No, I'm afraid you don't have a tree on your head." He takes something out of his pocket and gives it to me. It's a hand mirror. I look at myself and let out some sort of inhumanly sound. 

"What are those?!" Jutting out from both my temples are ivory horns. The types a bull would have.

"It seems while all you zodiacs were away from Aries, your quirks developed. I'm going to presume Aries' quirk has also developed. All of you with animal zodiacs have taken one feature from the animal you can summon." Doctor Ishi explained, and I let out a sigh of relief.

"Do they do anything?" I asked, my eyes still on the mirror, touching my horns to get a feel of them.

"Not that we know of, so far. They are quite sharp and strong, though so be careful." Doctor Ishi answered. "Do you have any more questions?"

"Have all the other zodiacs woken up yet?" 

"Only the ones with animals. Gemini, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius haven't woken up yet." Doctor Ishi said grimly, taking off his glasses and cleaning them with the tail of his doctor scrubs. 

We were all visiting Midoriya. Well, not all of us. Gemini, Virgo, Libra, and Aquarius haven't woken up yet. Sag has, and her trait is that she now has her quiver full of arrows on her back. She said that she tried to get back into wherever it is they come from, but they just stayed there. That was verbatim from her, actually. And of course, Bakugo and Aries were still being held captive by the villains, who were laying low. 

Scorpio has this awesome scorpion tail, which has a spike at the end that can be tipped by any scorpion poison. Pisces has gills which, and she checked, help her breathe underwater. Capricorn has curved goat horns, that come out of the top of her forehead, she hasn't tried anything with them yet. Leo has these lion, well lioness, fangs, instead of her canines. Cancer has harder skin, that if you concentrate, and have the right lighting is tinted red. 

"Here's a melon for you. We all pitched in!" Mineta held up a melon over his head. He was right, we all pitched in to get the most expensive melon we could find. And we made sure it wasn't a ripoff.

"Is everyone from class here?" Midoriya asked, his eyes had dark circles around them.

"No. Jirou and Hagakure are still unconscious. So are Gemini, Virgo, Libra, and Aquarius, but for a different reason. And Yaoyorozu received a terrible head wound.  She's here at the hospital. Apparently she only just regained consciousness yesterday. So besides those seven...All 22 of us are here." Iida emphasized the number twenty-two as if we needed any more reminder that Aries and Bakugo were gone.

"Of course, Bakugo and Aries aren't here," Todoroki added insensitively. 

"But I could reach them. All I had to do was save them...! My quirk...it's built for just that. But it turned out exactly like Aizawa-Sensei said it would. I-I couldn't move my body," Midoriya said.

"Then let's go save him now." I whipped my head around to look at Kirishima. "Todoroki and I...we actually came by yesterday. Then we ran into All Might and the police. They were talking to Yaoyorozu..." From there Kirishima explained how he and Todoroki overheard that Momo had made a tracker, and put it into a Nomu that they had sent to the camp.

"So, you're saying that Yaoyorozu might make another one for us...?" There was a beat of silence. "NO! IT'S JUST AS ALL MIGHT SAID! LEAVE THIS TO THE PROS! IT'S NOT OUR PLACE TO INTERFERE!" Iida yelled.

"YOU THINK I DON'T KNOW THAT?! I COULDN'T JUST SIT STILL AND DO NOTHING!" Kirishima exclaimed. "When I heard that they were after my buddy...I couldn't do anything. I didn't do anything." There was a beat of silence before Kirishima continued. "IF I DON'T ACT NOW...FORGET BEING A HERO, I'M NOT EVEN A MAN!" Kirishima yelled, looking up with tears welling up in his eyes. 

Before anyone else could say anything, surprisingly Scorpio stepped in. "Calm down." She said, her voice stern, like a mother scolding her child.

"I CAN'T BE CALM! NOT WHILE BAKUGO IS OUT THERE BEING HELD CAPTIVE WITH VILLAINS!" Kirishima shouted. Scorpio grit her teeth and I could see she was about to explode.

"GOD DAMN IT DON'T YOU THINK I CARE?! DO YOU THINK I'M HEARTLESS?! I KNOW THE FRUSTRATION. HELL, I WAS RIGHT THERE, WHILE BOTH BAKUGO AND ARIES WERE TAKEN, AND I COULDN'T FUCKING DO ANYTHING!" Scorpio yelled, she didn't give Kirishima a chance to respond, before she continued. "YOU THINK YOU KNOW FRUSTRATION! YOU HAVE NO IDEA! YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT'S LIKE TO GET PEOPLE YOU LOVE GET TAKEN AWAY RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU! YOU WEREN'T THERE!" And then Scorpio stomped out of the room.

A/N: You guys don't know how much fun it was to write this. Writing frustration is so much fun. Especially Scorpio's. And in another point of view, so that you know what it looks like on the outside.
