"We had a conference about work studies for first-years yesterday. Plenty of the teachers said, don't even think about it." Bakugo leaped up from his seat with a shit-eating grin on his face. "BUT. Some believed that being overprotective won't help you grow, so we're allowing first years with proven track records that offer work-studies to take on first-years." Aizawa-Sensei finished, and the energy in the room went bright again, except for Bakugo who had an energy of enmity around him.

My mind wandered to the hero I interned with, but I wasn't sure how good of a track record they had, so I crossed them out immediately. English class was next, and I let my mind drift into the language, and stopped thinking about work studies.

The rest of the day went similarly. I let work studies dwell at the back of my head while all of our classes passed by.

During lunch, Sag noticed my absent manner and asked me what was wrong. The conversation went like this:

"Hey Leo, I've noticed that you've been a bit absent-minded. So, what's up?" Sag asked, and even though she played off her concern as just her noticing me, but I knew she meant it.

"I've just been thinking...about work studies," I answered.

"Don't worry about those. We'll burn that bridge when we get there." Sagittarius winked and I let out a laugh.

"I don't think that's how the saying goes."

"Well, it's what I do."

That evening a few of us in class 1-A were hanging out in the common room, including Kirishima, Tsu, Uraraka, Tokoyami, Midoriya, Sag, and I, when Aizawa-Sensei comes into the common room. He said something to Tokoyami about how Hawks wanted him to come and do a work-study at his agency. Tokoyami accepted. Then he turned to Kirishima and said that Amajiki wanted to talk to him about something. And then to my surprise, he turned to Tsu, Uraraka, and me and said that Hado wanted to talk to us as well.

Kirishima wasn't able to wait it out, until morning so he said he was going to see Amajiki now. I too felt impatient and wanted to join him. "I don't think I'll wait it out until morning, can we go see Hado now?" I asked Tsu and Uraraka. I wasn't asking to see if we could go, more like asking if they would come with me. They both nodded and we got up from the comfy couches and went to see Hado.

It's dark outside, and there's a fight between two people with gigantification quirks. It turned out that Hado wanted the three of us to come over so that we could get a work-study over at the agency she was at, which was The Dragoon Hero: Ryukyu. Ryukyu was pretty high in the ranking, so I was surprised Hado wanted us.

Back to the fight. Hado used her quirk, and let out output level 30. Then Tsu, Uraraka, and I used our super moves. Uraraka would float rocks, I would set them on fire and Tsu would flick them forward with her tongue. We made a pretty good team.

The two fighters have fallen to the ground, knocked out, probably, and we've all come back down to the ground. "That was nice! Really, really nice! Were you two nervous?" Hado asked the three of us, bouncing up and down.

"We did it just like you said!" Uraraka exclaimed, breathless.

"Surprisingly, I wasn't worried. Ribbit." Tsu said.

"It's not that bad compared to Aries when he got angry as a child." We all shared a laugh at that.

"You're as good as Nejire said. I can see why she recommended you. And good job on improving on your attack time, Nejire." Ryukyu said, and I could tell that she was the type of her to build a relationship with each one of her sidekicks. And that was fine by me.
