I had come into the 1-A classroom pretty early, and slowly everyone filtered in. There were only two seats left, and a green-haired boy was one of the last ones to arrive, behind him was a short brunette.

"Go somewhere else if you want a play at being friends." A raspy voice said from the ground. I looked to the ground to see a man, who looked homeless in a yellow sleeping bag. "This is the hero course." The man said, draining a container of applesauce.

The man got up, and his sleeping bag fell to the ground. "Okay, it took eight seconds before you were quiet. Time is limited. You kids aren't rational enough." There was a pause before the man introduced himself.

"I'm your homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa. Nice to meet you." There was a gasp when everyone realized he was our homeroom teacher.

"Now, I know this is kinda sudden but put this on and go out into the field," Aizawa-Sensei says, taking out the UA gym uniform. This was weird, we were supposed to meet our guidance counselor and do our orientation, but I wasn't complaining. Those meetings were always boring anyway.

The girl did introductions in the locker room while we changed, and I tried talking with some of them, and overall I really liked them.

"A quirk assessment test?!" The whole class yelled out when Aizawa-Sensei explained what we were going to be doing.

"What about the entrance ceremony? The orientation?" The short brunette, who I learned was Uraraka questioned.

"If you're going to be a hero you don't have time for such leisurely events." Was our Sensei's response. I sort of agreed with him, my father used to be a hero, he hardly attended press events, or even fancy galas and the like. "UA's selling point is how unrestricted its school traditions are. That's also how the teachers run their classes." Aizawa-Sensei says, turning around for us to see his tired eyes. There were a few murmurs of surprise but overall no one really said anything

Aizawa-Sensei continued explaining we would be doing physical fitness tests. Bakugo was told to do the ball throw, and he was allowed to do whatever he wanted, as long as he didn't leave the circle.

"Then, well..." Bakugo trailed off, and then threw the ball, adding an extra explosion. "Die!" Bakugo yelled. Die? Of course, he would say something like that. I rolled my eyes.

"Know your maximum first," Aizawa-Sensei said. " That is the most rational way to form the foundation of a hero." The phone beeped and we were shown the distance that Bakugo threw the ball.

It read 705.2 meters! "750 meters? Seriously?" The blonde from the entrance exam exclaimed.

There was chatter about the tests being fun and how cool it was. "'It looks fun' huh. You have three years to train to become a hero. Are you going to have that attitude the whole time?" Aizawa-Sensei asked.

"All right." An eerie smile spreads across our Sensei's face and I get a shiver down my spine. " Whoever comes in the last place in all eight tests will be judged to have no potential and will be punished with expulsion."

"Huh?!" Everyone yelled out.

"We're free to do what we want with the circumstances of our students. Welcome to UA's hero course!" Aizawa-Sensei said, lifting the hair out of his eyes and giving a terrible smile.

"The last place will be expelled! But it's the first day of school! No, even if it's the first day of school, this is too unfair!" Uraraka protested.

"Natural disasters, big accidents, and selfish villains." When he said selfish villains my brain flew to the memory of all those villains on that terrible day. " Calamities who time or place can't be predicted. Japan is covered in unfairness. Heroes are the ones who reverse those situations." Aizawa-Sensei continues. "If you wanted to go talk with your friends at Mickey D's after school, too bad. For the next three years, UA will do all it can to give you one hardship after another. Go Beyond. Plus Ultra. Overcome it with all you got." Aizawa-Sensei finishes, throwing a quote. Aizawa-Sensei was way too serious about this for it to be a joke, meaning I have to give it my all so that I don't place last. I've learned not to judge by appearance. Uraraka could easily be the strongest in the class, even with her plain appearance, anyone could've been the strongest. I have to give it my all.
