*Y/N's POV*

As we walked in, all our friend's eyes shot toward us. I scanned the room, looking for one face in particular. I felt myself tearing up again when I finally laid eyes on Neville, trying his very hardest to cast a Patronus, the same as everyone else had been doing the moment we walked in. His eyes finally met mine, a sort of half-smile forming on both of our faces before I felt Fred's hand slip out of mine and my hair flying behind me as I ran to Neville, throwing my arms around his neck and pulling him to me.

"I'm so sorry, Neville," I muttered into his shoulders, tears falling from my eyes.

I felt his arms come around my waist, "I-It's alright," he stuttered, "It's not your fault, Y/N."

I wiped away my tears as we pulled away, "Doesn't mean I'm any less sorry."

"Me too," he sighed, "But," he pulled me to the side, "Harry is the only other person who knows, for now at least. I just want to keep it like that for a bit, alright?"

"Of course, Nev," I smiled, placing my hand on his shoulder.

He returned my smile, "Thank you, Y/N, you're a good friend. I hope you know that."

"So are you," I squeezed his arm before returning over to Fred and the rest.

"What was that about?" Fred asked.

"Neville can tell you when he's ready," I assured him.

"Y/N," Hermione, Ginny, and Luna came up to us, "Are you alright?"

     "I'm fine," I smiled, "Everything's okay."

"And you two?" Ginny pointed at Fred and me.

"From what it seems, they're still very much in love," Luna grinned.

      Fred smirked, "Got that right."

"Hey!" George called, "We're in the middle of training. You can snog later."

"Shut it, Georgie," I hissed, laughing.

But he was right, we all went back to training, trying to conjure up our happiest memories to form a Patronus. After a childhood like mine, those memories weren't exactly choice A, as I combed through my memories, one popped into my mind, sending an immediate smile to my face. It was the night Fred took me on our first date, the night he told me he had fallen in love with me and I admitted I had fallen in love just as hard.

"Expecto Patronum!" I cast, sending a sparkling blue West Highland Terrier running and barking around the room. I smiled as it snuggled up to my feet.

"Excellent!" Harry congratulated me. As I bent down to play with the small dog.

"Expecto Patronum!" the twins cast. I shouldn't have been surprised when the two of them shared an identical Patronus, an adorable Magpie.

There was a sudden shake through the room, we all looked around, seeing the entrance wall trembling a bit. All of our Patronuses evaporated as our attention moved to the quaking wall. Fred grabbed my arm, pulling me back to him, joining the rest of the group in the center of the room. All of our wands raised as Harry and Nigel approached the door, glass falling onto the floor as the wall seemed as if it was being struck repeatedly by a battering ram. Suddenly, Harry snatched Nigel away from the door, the debris and rubble smoking the room as the entire wall came crashing down.

Umbridge and the Inquisitorial Squad approached, including my cousin who had dragged Cho Chang into view, our mouths hung at the realization that she must've been the one to give us up to them.
