*Y/N's POV*

"Come on, you two! Let's see it!" Ginny called from outside mine and Hermione's dorms.

I took a deep breath as I looked over my dress. A black and red ball gown that fit me perfectly. Honestly, I was surprised at how well my aunt's taste was. I had my hair pulled halfway back in two neat braids with some of my baby hairs framing my face and black heels to finish off the look as well as a necklace Hermione had given me for my birthday the year prior.

I stepped out of my dorm first, Ginny's jaw falling open and her eyes widening, "You look incredible!"

I blushed, "Thanks, Gin. You look even better," I winked, her dress fit her personality well, way better than Ron's dress robes. We turned when we heard Hermione's door creak open.

"Well?" she blushed, looking over herself.

"Bloody hell Hermione! Y-You look breathtaking," I grinned, excited for her.

She blushed before her gaze fell on our dresses, "Y/N are you joking? You look amazing! And you too, Ginny!" We all smiled at one another before walking over to the Great Hall where all our dates would meet us.

"Hermione, you alright?" I asked as she stopped behind a pillar. Ginny had already left us to go find Neville.

"Y-Yeah just need a minute alone, if that's alright," she took a couple of deep breaths.

"Are you sure you don't need me to stay? Cedric can wait."

"No, he can't. Go, I'll be alright," she smiled reassuringly. I nodded before walking down the steps.

I was looking around for Cedric when I accidentally bumped into Harry, Ron, alongside their dates, the Patil Twins. All four of them standing awkwardly side-by-side.

"Y/N!" Padma squealed, "You look incredible!"

I bit my lip smiling, "Thank you, you two look great."

"Bloody hell, Y/N, I-I didn't take you for a dress girl," Ron muttered.

"Are you sure it's not you who's wearing a dress with all that lace?" I giggled, Ron's face going red, "I'm only joking, Ron. Both you and Harry look great." I looked up to see Cedric looking outside a door, "Excuse me," I dismissed myself and walked over to him.

"You clean up well, Diggory," I smiled, catching his attention.

His eyes widened like Ginny's had, "Y-Y/N," he stuttered, "You look absolutely beautiful," he smirked.

I blushed as he kissed my hand, "You're just saying that."

"N-No, I mean honestly, you look wow," he struggled to find words.

   "Thank you, Cedric," I smiled.

"Are you ready to do this?" He asked, extending his arm. I took a deep breath, remembering that the four champions had to dance first with their dates in front of all three student bodies.

"As ready as I'll ever be," I gulped, taking another deep breath as I took Cedric's arm.

We all lined up after everyone had entered. Fleur Delacour and Roger Davies were first to enter, followed by Hermione and Viktor Krum, Cedric and me, then Harry and Pavarti Patil. I blushed quite a bit as nearly everyone's eyes followed us. That was until I started to hear the whispers.

"Is that Y/N Lestrange with Cedric Diggory?" one person whispered.

"How on Earth did that happen?" I heard another.
