*Y/N's POV*

It definitely took some major convincing and a lot of help from Luna and Harry for us to fly on these invisible creatures called Thestrals. Apparently, they were the ones who pulled our carriages and things, and one could only see them if they've seen death which explained why only Harry and Luna could see them. It was a rather long flight to London but the adrenaline kept us awake and moving. It was nightfall by the time we got there and there wasn't a single person in the Ministry.

We ran through the empty halls, climbing into one of the elevators, "Department of Mysteries," the automated voice announced as we hit the floor. We all walked hesitantly through the eerie all-black-tile hallway.

"This is it," Harry announced. We entered the department, it was ginormous and poorly lit, the only thing illuminating it were the hundreds of thousands of crystal balls that decorated its tall shelves.

"Lumos!" we all cast in a whisper, the tips of all our wands glowing as we walked through the shelves. We turned to see the door we had entered through, sliding away. Harry rushed off, counting aloud the numbers on the shelves.

"What do you suppose he's looking for?" Ginny asked as we all stood together, approaching slowly.

"Sirius, I think," I answered, "That is why we flew out here after all. Harry thinks he saw You-Know-Who torturing him, same as what happened to your dad."

Harry turned around, "He should be here."

"Harry," Neville had turned to a shelf, "It's got your name on it," he stared at one of the flickering crystal balls.

Harry looked at it hesitantly before picking it up off its shelf, he watched it, listening intricately as the ball seemed to speak to him.

"Harry!" Hermione caught all of our attention. We huddled in as a masked Death Eater approached us.

"Where's Sirius?" Harry confronted, stepping in front of all of us as we raised our wands.

"You know, you really should learn to tell the difference between dreams," the Death Eater's voice sounded too familiar to me, "and reality," the mask fogged away as my Uncle Lucius revealed himself, "You saw only what the Dark Lord wanted you to see." Neville pushed me behind him, guarding me in a sort of way. "Now, hand me the prophecy," my uncle commanded.

"If you do anything to us, I'll break it," Harry snapped back.

A wicked laugh filled the air as another dark figure approached from behind my uncle, my breath hitched in my throat as my mother appeared from the shadows, "He knows how to play! Itty, bitty baby. Potter," she smirked.

   "Bellatrix Lestrange?" Neville's voice confirmed.

"Neville Longbottom, is it? How's Mum and Dad?" she smirked.

"Better, now they're about to be avenged," Neville attempted to charge forward before I pulled him back by his sleeve.

"Y/N?" my mother's crazed eyes widened as a devilish smile formed on her lips.

"Mother," I spoke brashly, my grip on my wand tightened.

My uncle sneered, "If it isn't my dear niece."

"Y/N, sweetie, what are you doing with these filthy people?" my mother snapped.

"They're my friends," I hissed, "And what are you doing with Uncle Lucius? Shouldn't you still be locked away?"
