*Emma's POV *

I took a deep breath and Killian's arm went around my waist as I stepped off the ship. Here we go...

We were stopped at the castle doors.

"May we help you two? The king and queen are taking no visitors until their daughter arrives with her new husband." A guard told us sternly.

"This is their daughter. And I am her new husband. Now if you'll kindly let us through, we have things to do." Killian replied, trying not to be angry that they didn't know me.

"Look, pirate, you'll just have to wait until the princess gets here for the family to decide if they want to see you. Now please take you and your wench elsewhere." The other guard said, annoyed.

And that's when Killian snapped. "How dare you! I will not allow you to speak to-" but I cut him off.

"Killian, calm down," I stepped between him and the gaurds, forcing him to meet my eyes. His were angry but softened as they always do when catching my gaze. "I haven't lived here. They don't know me, how could they. They weren't even in Storybrooke." I smiled gently and took his hand, watching his eyes soften even more as I turned back to the guards. "Um, hi. I'm Emma, this is my erm husband Killian. If you're going to continue arguing our status, would you mind getting the king and queen? They can settle this. That's the easy way. Or, we can do this the hard way, where we put our skills to use, get in anyway, and probably get you fired."

They looked at eachother,  then at Killian and back to me. The one who first spoke walked quickly into the castle, emerging a few minutes later with my parents. My parents looked confused and slightly angry until they spotted us. David grinned and my mother ran to hug us both.

"Emma! Killian! We've been waiting all morning! What took so long? Are you hungry? We were just about to have lunch! But we need to get you in a better dress first..." Snow babbled on as we walked in, Killian giving the second guard a smug, dirty look as he passed.

I soon found myself alone with my mother in my nursery. It was still a nursery, but it now held probably hundreds of gowns. My mouth fell open as I took in each one around me. I looked to my mother, who was grinning hugely.

About a half an hour later, we were walking down to lunch, just talking. I now wore a simple red cloth dress with cap sleeves and an extremely tight black leather corset over top.

I looked up with a huge smile on my face, only to find Killian looking at me from across the room, his face full of awe and wonder. He composed himself quickly to his usual flirty smirk, but I saw it.

My mother and father were occupied, so I took the opportunity to go over to Killian. I could tell he was trying to keep his eyes off me, and failing miserably. I was about a yard away and he turned his face to the window to hide his smile.

I leaned in and whispered in his ear, without touching him. "What's the matter, Captain? See something you like?" His will dissolved with my words. I giggled as he grabbed me fiercely into his arms and kissed me.

My parents were there and we were basically in public, but for once, I didn't care. I melted into the kiss, forming my body to his as the wildfire he set inside me consumed me. I will never get used to how perfect this felt. Like puzzle pieces. Made to fit together. I ignored the obvious throat clearing coming from the other side of the room, and wrapped myself further around him.

My back hit a wall and I locked my legs around his waist. I pulled back just enough to look in his eyes and grin, reminded so much of our wedding night. Killian grinned back but reclaimed my lips in a split second.

I heard footsteps leaving the room, most likely my parents. I was almost sorry. I almost pulled away from my pirate to go after them. I was almost ashamed of myself for my lack of control. I was almost sorry. Almost.
