*Killian's POV *

I hadn't let go of Emma for even a moment since I'd gotten her off that ship, so when I woke up alone I panicked.

"Swan?!" I yelled, getting up quickly though my body still ached. I heard the shower running and rushed into the bathroom. "Emma?!"

"Yeah?" She stuck her head out and looked at me, shampoo still in her hair. "What is it?"

I sighed with relief, getting in with her and wrapping my arms around her as I kissed her deeply.

I was hoping to be out of the shower before he woke up, but I soon heard him yelling for me. The look of complete and utter panic on his face changed to just loving relief as I stuck my head out of the shower.

"Yeah?" I say, shampoo still in my hair as I wipe water from my eyes. "What is it?"

He didn't say a word, just got in the shower with me and wrapped his arms around me as he crashed his lips against mine. It took me off guard but I soon returned the kiss, sliding my hands up his chest and around his neck as he pulled me hard against him.

"Hey," I whisper against his lips. "What's wrong?"

He just shook his head and kissed me again deeply. I sighed, giving in and kissing him back. My back hit the cold tile of the shower wall as he kissed me more passionately and pressed his body into mine. His hands slid down my sides, hitching my legs up around his waist.

About an hour later, we walked wrapped around each other down to the dining room to meet my parents. Before I could even look for them, my mom had already wrapped us in a tight hug.

"We heard about what happened," she said as she let us go. "I came to check on you last night, but you were already asleep."

"It was just..." I sigh and Killian's arms tightened around me. "A really long night."

"It's totally fine," she assured us, ushering us into the room. "Come have lunch and then I can start getting you ready for Henry's birthday ball."

I hadn't realized at the time, but getting ready for the party meant being away from Killian until it started. He clearly hadn't known this either, judging by the fact that he followed when my mom led me out.

"Um, you should probably go get ready, too," she said awkwardly as she stopped and looked back at him.

"But... I-" he stuttered, holding me tighter to him.

"Hey," I towards him, putting my hands on his chest and looking up into his eyes. "You'll see me in just a few hours, okay? You go get yourself and Henry ready, and before you know it I'll be right back with you."

He sighed and nodded, putting his hand on my stomach and kissing me softly repeatedly. I put my hands on his cheeks, kissing him back until I finally had to reluctantly pull away. My mom took my hand, dragging me down the hall as I looked back at him.

*Killian's POV *

I watched Emma go, wanting nothing more than to follow her and keep her in my arms. It made me anxious to be away from her, especially since she was pregnant and kept getting threatened. This morning had only been minutes away from her and I'd gotten very... intense. I couldn't exactly do that in front of everyone at the ball.

After almost four hours, David finally said we could go wait for Emma and Snow at the bottom of the stairs. We were surrounded by people we barely knew and we all turned to look at the top of the stairs at the same time.
