*Killian's POV *

I awoke to quiet murmuring, opening my eyes to find Emma asleep on my chest, whispering in her sleep. I grinned, kissing her forehead as I ran my fingers through her hair. I couldn't bare to wake her, so I just lie there, watching her peaceful face as she slept.

*Emma's POV *

I felt the heat of the sun radiating off my back as I woke up. My head was on Killian's chest and I could feel his hand in my hair. I smiled to myself, and played with his smattering of chest hair, making him laugh.

"Well good morning, love." Killian laughed, kissing my sleep swollen lips. I cuddled back into him, ignoring the fact that I needed to get up. I had my stupid bachelorette party tonight. The wedding was in two days so tonight we had parties, tomorrow was for relaxing and all those finishing touches, then it was wedding time.

I knew this was going to be the last time I'd be allowed to see Killian until I was walking down that aisle, so I was dragging it out.

"Love, we've got to get up." Killian said gently. Just as he uttered the words, I heard footsteps on deck. Multiple sets of footsteps.  I groaned and tightened my grip around my pirate. No. I was not leaving him yet.

"Shh," I whispered.  "Pretend you're asleep. Maybe they'll go away." It was highly unlikely, knowing my parents, not to mention Regina.  Nonetheless, he grinned and did as I said.

Snow- They're probably just asleep. Let them be. They won't see eachother until the wedding after this.

David- Well they should've slept last night.

Regina- Honestly, it almost 11 AM and we have a schedule to keep.

The door opened, but we remained still.

Snow- oh come on you guys, look at them. They're adorable. Give them a little longer.

I heard David groan and then a heavy set of footsteps going up on on deck.

Regina- ugh. Fine. But I'm just going to sit on deck until noon. Then they just have to get up.

And with that they followed David up on deck.

I opened my eyes once more to find Killian grinning down at me.

"What?" I asked in a low voice, trying not to alert those on deck that we were awake. He just shook his head, leaning down to kiss me again. I resumed my position on his chest before speaking again. "I don't want to spend the next two days away from you."

"I know, love." Killian replied softly. "But we should keep at least a bit of tradition,  don't you think?"

"No," I pouted. "That's no fun at all. I wanna stay with you."

"I feel exactly the same way, Swan. But this is how it works" he chuckled. We spent the next hour just talking and laughing, ignoring the world. That was, until the world came to us.

"Really, you two?" Regina now stood in the doorway. "How long have you been awake?"

"Since about 10 this morning," Killian replied with a smirk. Regina rolled her eyes and drug me out of bed.

*Killian's POV *

It was now 9 in the evening, and the group of men the prince had assembled for this occasion were all thoroughly drunk. Myself included. But then I got a marvelous idea! I got up and walked out, vaguely aware of the group following.

"Where the hell are you going?" David asked as he caught up to me. "I thought we were having a good time. Having some drinks, telling stories, having some more drinks."

"Aye, all great fun." I laughed. "But I have something I must do before I am to wed my dear Swan." I walked into the tattoo shop and immediately sat down. "Cover it." I said simply, holding out my forearm.

I walked out about an hour later, a dark swan covering all remnants of my old tattoo. No reminder of Milah. I didn't want or need it anymore. I only needed my Swan.

Speaking of... I saw her through the diner window, laughing and dancing. As I made my way over, I was surprised to not get any objections. They must want to see their women too. I was going for the element of surprise, so we went around back.

I stopped in the doorway a moment, just watching Emma. She wore a tight black dress that covered very little of her legs or chest, and her hair was wild around her.

*Emma's POV *

I had to admit, I was having a good time. Regina, my mom, Ruby and I had been drinking since six. It's now ten. We were just laughing at eachother and ourselves as we told stories of our lovers. But we soon grew restless, and cranked the music to create our own dance party.

I danced my worries away. I danced like I never had. The only thing that could make this better was...Killian. Just as the thought formed, I felt hands on my hips, moving with me. I looked around to find all my companions had company of their own.

I turned without hesitation and kissed Killian with all I had. My arms went around his neck as his went around my waist, pulling me flush against him. The kiss deepened as my back hit a wall. I hitched myself up, locking my legs around his waist as my fingers tangled in his hair.

Next thing I knew, it was bright as hell and Killian was telling me we needed to go before the diner was opened for the day. Ugh. That meant it was 5:30 in the morning. I glanced around through squinted eyes to find the other couples in similar states.

Killian and I were beneath the bar where we must have passed out. My memory was just flashes, but I did know we hadn't shut off the music until 4 AM. Suddenly, Killian picked me up and started to walk out with me. I knew I wasn't supposed to be with him, but I didn't argue as we made our way to the Jolly Rodger.

We got to his ship and he laid me in the bed. I noticed something different as he took off his shirt and joined me. I grabbed his forearm and just stared for a moment before looking up at him, confused.

"Oh yes, I forgot about that," he laughed nervously. My eyes started to tear, trying but failing to ask the only thing I could think of. But he soon understood. "I didn't want that tattoo anymore. I want no reminder of my past or the people in it. I want only you and our future. Together."

I had no words. Tears leaked from the corners of my eyes as I blinked at him in awe. I quickly pulled myself up to him, kissing him long and hard before taking my usual place in the crook of his neck. He hugged me tight to him and kissed my forehead. I soon fell asleep, tears still in my eyes.

*Killian's POV *

I had no desire to sleep, only to watch her as she did so. We'd be in trouble once we left. This was to be our time apart. But I didn't care, not when it meant more time with her.
