*Emma's POV*

I'd finally gotten Killian to sleep, half sitting up against the headboard with him sprawled across my body and my arms around him. I ran my fingers through his hair absent mindedly, my cheek leaning on the top of his head as I read my book quietly. He occasionally mumbled in his sleep, calming when I talked to him and kissing any part of my skin he could reach.

"Mom?" I heard from the doorway as the sun was setting, looking up to see Henry standing almost shyly in the doorway. "Can I come sit with you guys?"

"Of course you can, kid," I smiled, putting my book down and holding my hand out to him. He all but ran over to crawl into the bed, snuggling into my other side as I wrapped my arm around him and kissed his forehead. "How's my boy doing? You okay?"

"I'm alright," he said quietly but I could hear him starting to cry. "I just really missed you. I was so scared you'd never wake up."

"Shh," I soothed him, his arms going around me in spite of Killian as I hugged him tighter to me. "Hey, it's okay, I've got you. I'm not going to leave you, I promise. Why don't you get some sleep while you're here? I'll be awake for Killian anyway."

"Okay," he said, sounding more like a child than I'd ever heard him as he cuddled into me even more and closed his eyes. "I love you, mom."

"I love you, too, kid," I sighed, kissing his forehead again and rubbing his back. "I love you, too. Try to sleep now, I won't let you go."

He nodded, quickly falling asleep like he hadn't slept any more than Killian. I sighed, getting comfortable again with my cheek on Killian's hair and reading over Henry's head. Not long after that my mom came in, a tray full of food in her hands.

"Well they look happy," she said, getting my attention. "They've been laying with you like that for weeks now, but this is the first time I've seen them sleep."

"Really?" I asked guiltily, looking down at them. "Not at all?"

"They've both been a mess," she sighed as she sat by our feet. "I could barely get Henry to eat and Hook wouldn't at all. He wouldn't leave your side for even a moment in case you woke up. Your father and I haven't been in the best shape ourselves, actually."

"Sorry," I said quietly, looking back at her. "You okay now? I mean, I'm fine now."

"As long as you're okay," she smiled a little, looking at Henry and Killian asleep wrapped around me. "You've got your boys now, anyway."

"Yeah," I looked down at them again and smiled to myself. "I guess I do, don't I? My adorable dorks are too loyal for their own good."

"They just love you," she laughed a little. "We all do. We don't really know how to live in a world without you."

"Speaking of," I sighed. "What's been going on? With the, uhm, kingdom and stuff since I was, uhm, asleep."

"Before we get into that," she handed me a grilled cheese and I looked at her questioningly. "You haven't eaten in weeks. If you don't eat it for you, do it for the baby, okay? Or do I need to wake up Hook and have him convince you?"

"Don't you dare wake him up," I said defensively, holding his head to my neck which just made her smile triumphantly. "Just give me the damn sandwich and tell me what's going on."

"Well, as you could guess," she sighed, visibly frustrated. "Blackbeard got away not long after he attacked you, so in an effort to get him to back off, the kingdom is under the impression that you're literally minutes from death. Which wasn't a total lie up until now. Wait, Hook didn't tell you all this?"
