That moment, the moment she woke up from a dream she desperately wanted, was the moment Emma decided to truly trust Hook, erm Killian.

She sighed and looked at the clock. It was 2 am. Ugh. No way was she getting back to sleep, so she got up, slipped on some moccasins, and left the house in her nightgown.

She didn't know where she was going until she got there. Emma stood outside Killian's door at granny's, debating knocking. She did, quietly, but turned to leave. "Swan?" She heard behind her. She sighed and a tear slid down her cheek. She then turned to find him in only a pair of pajama pants, sleep still on his face. It was adorable. But as she met his eyes, she could no longer hold herself in place and she threw herself into his arms.

He nearly lost his balance, surprised, but immediately wrapped his arms around her and held her close. "Emma? What happened? Is something wrong?" He asked concerned. She looked up at him with tears in her eyes but a smile on her face "nothing. Things couldn't be better" she said and kissed him.

Every kiss before Emma had held back, afraid she'd get hurt in the end. But she put everything into this kiss- her love and fear and need. Killian was all too happy to return the kiss, pulling her inside and closing his door.he pulled away, curiosity getting the best of him. "What brought this on?" He laughed, sitting on the sofa. She sat next to him, leaning on his shoulder with his arm around her, and told him all about her vivid dream.

"So, I realized that I was being stupid and selfish, and stupid a few more times. I got up to get some fresh air, but next thing I knew I was here." She said when she finished. Killian had a grin plastered to his face. Emma laughed, "what?" "You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this" he answered pulling her closer.

Emma's POV

I woke up in Killian's arms, sighing, content for the moment. He looked so peaceful, but I had to wake him. I softly kissed his lips and his eyes fluttered open. He pulled me closer, making me laugh. "I have to get up, Killian.  He just groaned in response and held me tighter. I slipped out of his arms and bent to kiss his cheek, "but you can come with me" I offered.  He was up in a flash and I just laughed.

I only had my nightgown, but Killian gave me a jacket for the walk home. We walked hand in hand back to my parents apartment. I really needed my own place. It was still early, and no one was awake yet so we just snuck up to my room and laid in my bed together. We laid down and he pulled my back flush against his chest. I giggled, feeling terrible I'd made him wait this long, and we fell asleep.

"Emma, honey you need to wake up." I was startled awake to my mother's voice, finding her knelt down in front of me smiling. "Hey" I said sleepily. It was Saturday so I wasn't sure why she would wake me. She laughed, " Sorry hun, it's 9 but I thought you and your um guest would want some breakfast." I groaned, "Crap, yeah well be down soon. And sorry, this is awkward." "It's fine, really. I want you happy,  and I can tell you only slept. Just come eat, I made pancakes." And with that my mother went downstairs.

I sighed and turned over. Killian was already awake and grinning at me. "Good morning, love," he said, taking the opportunity to kiss me. I kissed him back, but soon pulled away. "Let's eat." I grabbed his hand and we went downstairs, getting a variety of facial expressions, surprised, happy, and slightly angry. The latter belonging to my father, of course. Mom had plates ready and we thanked her as we sat down to eat.

My mother tried to make conversation, but apparently it was too awkward, so I tried my hand at it. "So Henry, did you find any good apartments in that search?" This set him off, and he forgot it was weird... until he asked the ultimate awkward question. "Is Hook gunna live with us?" "Well, for one his name is Killian," I turned to him, "but living with us is up to you and him. If you're ok with it Henry, then just ask him."
