*Emma's POV*

I woke screaming, with tears streaming steadily down my cheeks. Killian's arms tightened around me,  trying to soothe me. I knew he was talking, but I just buried my face in his still bare chest and sobbed. Still crying, I looked up at him. "Promise me you'll never leave. Tell me you're not going to die, or get murdered, turn into a flying monkey, or just plain leave me." I whispered.  He smiled sadly down at me, "wouldn't dream of it." I breathed a sigh of relief, "good. Because those all sucked the first time. I wouldn't ever recover if I lost you...I love you too much..." Killian grinned. "I love you too, Swan."

We laid in bed most of the day, just talking. It was Saturday so I didn't have anything else I had to do. Suddenly, Killian sprang from the bed and started rummaging through drawers. "What are you doing?" I laughed. He'd apparently found what he wanted and crawled back in bed with me. He handed me a box just like the one I'd told him about in my dream. I gasped, "Did you...." I trailed off as I opened it and found the necklace from my dream. I looked up at him, tears in my eyes once again. He was grinning like a little kid on Christmas. He clasped the chain around my neck, letting it fall- right above my heart. All I could do was kiss him.

In the late afternoon, I decided that this thing with my father needed to end. We walked hand in hand down the street, getting quite a few stares as we did.

I knocked on my parents door and my mother answered with a knowing smile on her face. "Is erm, dad here?" "I'm right here," David answered as he came down the stairs. "Good," I said taking a deep breath, "because we have to talk." David smiled his own knowing smile, "Don't worry about it. I'm fine with you and um Killian. He and I had a long talk yesterday while you were with your mother. Everything's fine."

I was surprised. "Oh, well, alright then. As long as things are clear." I turned to leave but my mother's voice stopped me. "Why don't you guys stay here? We were just talking about finding a babysitter so we could spend the afternoon together. Would you two mind?" I shrugged, "sure. I guess. We weren't really doing much at home." Killian smirked beside me, "I'll have to disagree there, love." I elbowed him, silencing him before my parents heard.

My parents left as baby Neal slowly fell asleep in my arms. "You seem to be a natural, Swan." Killian smiled and snaked his arms around my waist, kissing my cheek. " Maybe one day..." I muttered mostly to myself. I put Neal in his crib and went back to Killian's embrace, leaning against him.

"Emma?" Killian asked. He sounded nervous. " Yeah?" "Do you ever, you know, think about that stuff?" He sounded almost afraid to know the answer. "You mean starting a family? With you?" He nodded and I turned in his embrace, wrapping my arms around his neck. I grinned, kissing him softly before answering. "Every day." Killian grinned in response, kissing me again.
