The library was like a maze. If I were to go there alone, I could've been lost. After some walking we found a desk swamped with books. "Brian," coughed Jade. "Yes," said Brian from behind the desk. "Oh, sorry," said Brain as he came out of the pile of books. He was wearing glasses that was very attractive. I tried as much as possible to ignore the fact that he was attractive while wearing glasses. "I am very sorry for what I did to your father. I hope you can forgive me?" asked Brian trying to do puppy eyes. "First, I will forgive you if you stop giving me those puppy eyes. You're giving the creeps." "I thought it's going to be useful." "Brian, don't ever do the puppy eyes please. Deal," I chuckled. "Ok," sighed Brian a sigh of relief. "So what are you reading?" I asked curiously. "I am studying the Hajorical weapons," said Brian. "What is HoJOriCal?" I asked as Brian chuckled. "It's the most dangerous weapons in the history," laughed Jade. "Like daggers and stuff?" I asked. "You could say that," said Brian as he went through the pages looking for something.

"Come. See that mace how it has irregularly-shaped head and it's small too?" asked Brian. "Yeah?" "This was the first mace the first lightstringer used. It's the Deadrose," said Brian. "Where is it now?" I asked. "Some say it's lost. Others say it's destroyed. I think it's destroyed," said Brian. "Why can't you make a replica? Since you know you can make weapons and stuff from light?" I asked. Brian chuckled and said, "To do a weapon, you've to memorize that weapon. The wood, the metal, you know? Wait." Brian went to talk to Jade. Then Jade disappeared and came back with a sword. "Thank you Jade. See this?" "Yeah?" "Try To memorize it." "Ok," I said suspiciously as I looked at the sword. The blade had razor-sharp edge, and has an insignia engraved on one side. It had a delicate guard with a diamond encrusted grip, and a spherical pommel. It was exceptionally heavy. Its metal was black, it also had some engravings on the handle in some kind of language that seemed familiar. "What does that say?" I asked. "Sê sw¯ælan we on spr¯æc forðfolgian." "Dear god. Sorry for asking!" "If you let me finish. I was about to tell you what it means," said Brian astonishingly. "Ok, ok. Go ahead." "It means, to the light we shall follow," said Brian.

"Ok. So now what?" I asked. "Try to memorizing the sword and make it," said Brian. I breathed in then out. I took the sword, closed my eyes and started to feel its features under my fingertips. I felt every jaded trimmings on it. After I've inspected it carefully, I put the sword on the desk. Then start to bend the light at my will. After a few seconds, the sword was in my hand, but it was different. The metal wasn't black anymore, rather it was white. The engravings popped out more. You could feel the engravings under your fingertips even though this sword is pure light. It felt like I was really holding sword only it to be made out of light. "Usually, new lightstringers have difficulties bending the light at their will. You, on the other hand, did it like it as if you were trained for years," said Jade. "It takes us years to prefect one weapon. It took me about 11 years to prefect my bow and arrow. But you did it so smoothly, without any mistakes. Alice, is there anything you'd like to tell us? Something maybe we don't know" asked Brian.

"I'm not hiding anything," I said. "You sure?" asked Jade. "Why would I keep something for you? As if there's anything you don't know about me," I muttered. "What did you say?" asked Brian, now his attractive face wasn't attractive anymore. "Oh for god's sake, you were stalking me. You know everything about me. So why would I keep something from you. Heck, even if I did, you know everything about me," I shouted. "Alice," muttered Brian. "What?" I shouted. "You're...glowing. Like actually giving off light. I've never seen anything like this," said Brian. "What do you mean?" I asked as I looked at my hand. It glowed, my whole body was glowing. "Why am I glowing?" I asked. "Brian. Are you thinking what I am thinking?" asked Jade. "Yeah," answered Brian. "What are you two thinking?" I asked. "You're a pulight," said Brian. "Meaning please," I pleaded.

"You're pure light." "A what now. Weren't I a lightstringer from a while? Now, I'm a purlight or whatever you call it," I said. "It's pulight!" hissed Brian through his teeth. "Same thing. Am I sick?" I asked. "God! I've never seen a pulight before. I only read about them in the books," said Brian. "Not helping," I said. "You're not sick Alice. You are the most precious thing in this world. Do you know what that means? To be a pulight?" asked Jade. "No," I said. I could feel the light going off my body. It was as if someone switched the light off. "Being a pulight means you're royalty. You are even above Lights. To be pulight, you've to be born to 2 Lights," said Brian. "Who are the Lights or what are they?" I asked. "The Lights are the royalty of our kind. They rule the lightstringers. They're like us but there percentage of light is much higher than us." "Woah, okay. I'm getting kind of dizzy by what you're talking about," I said.

I felt my surroundings blur then refocus again, then blur again. That was too much to process. "I can see you're struggling to process these information. Go to sleep. Let's talk tomorrow. How does that sound?" asked Brian. "How do I know you're not going to kill me while I'm sleeping?" I asked. "Why in the world would I try to kill?! I'm not a serial killer, you know. I thought maybe if you got some sleep then you might be able to process the information. Besides, it's getting late. You should go to sleep anyway," said Brian. I look out the window glass to find that it was nighttime. How long were we here? Times does really fly fast. "I'm not sleepy," I said but my body decided against it. I yawned. "Your body says otherwise," smirked Brian then regained his posture. "Ok, fine! Goodnight," I said as I turned to walk out then stopped. I don't know how to get out of here. Even if I got out of here, which would be a miracle, I don't know where my room is.

"Um... I don't know how to get out. Also my room, I don't know where it is," I said in a hushed voice, looking downembarrassed. Brian chuckled and said, "Come on, I'll show you to your room."While we walked to my room, Brian kept walking silently, but I would catch himfrom time to time looking at me with the corner of his eyes. I kept quiet untilwe reached my room. "Okay, what is it?" I asked. "What is what?" asked Brian."There's something bothering you. What is it? I know it's about me," I said."Goodnight Alice," said Brian. As he was about to walk out of my room, Igrabbed him as hard as I can and slammed him to the door. "You are not goinganywhere until you tell me what's bothering you," I said. "But youneed to sleep" said Brian. "Don't change the subject," I warned. "Ok, I wasthinking who might be your parents be," he said. At the same time I let go ofhim. "What do you mean?" I asked. "I don't know Alice. I really don't know,"sighed Brian. "Goodnight," waved Brian. "Goodnight," I answered as I closed thedoor. After I closed the door, I walked to the bed and slept, not bothering tolook around the room. I work up at 8:45. I don't know what wake me up.
