"Alice! You're awake?" asked Brian as he entered the room. "Yeah," I answered. "I see you changed clothes. Wait," said Brian as he put on his glasses. "Are these my clothes?" asked Brian. "What do expect from me to wear when you bring me to your room. Besides, I look cute in them, don't I?" I asked. "You don't need my compliments to make you feel beautiful. You already are," said Brian. "What did you say?" I asked. "When?" asked Brian. "Just now," I said. "I said you don't need my compliments," said Brian. "After that," I stated. "BRIAN! If you don't get out of this room I'm going to rip this door down," shouted Jade. I could see the relief on Brian's face, like he was thankful that Jade cut him. "You know you can't," said Brian. "You want to watch me?!" exclaimed Jade. "I'd love to, but we've got training to do," said Brian as he opened the door.

"Come on Alice. Let's go," said Brian. I got out of the room to find Jade's jaw dropped on the floor. I laughed and asked, "What got in to you?" "Did you know that Brian never had a girl in his room like never?!" "Even you?" I asked. "Even me," answered Jade. "But why though?" I asked. "Don't know," shrugged Jade. "Please if you're done speaking, let's get going. We have a lot of training to do," said Brian at the end of the hall. "We're coming," shouted Jade. "Let's go before he murders us," said Jade. "Yeah, that's probably a good idea," I laughed. We went down the stairs and entered the playfield. As we entered the place seemed to quiet down. "Complete your training don't mind us," stated Brian. As soon as he said that, the field continued with its noise. "Let's get started shall we?" asked Brian. "We shall," I answered.

"Ok. Do you remember the sword you saw few days ago?" asked Jade. "Yeah," I said. "Try doing it again." "Ok," I said as I remembered the sword with its smallest detail. Then I felt the same energy coursing through me then to my hands. After a few seconds of concentrating and hand gestures, the sword was in my hand. "Ok. Now, we fight," said Brian. "Wait wha-," I said as Brian swung at me but I dodge it barely. "Hey! You didn't tell me that we were going to fight!" I exclaimed. "Ever heard of the element of surprise?" asked Jade as she cheered Brian on. "You're such an arse," I said as Brian gasped. "Oh, you're going to pay," said Brian as he swung at me again. But this time I didn't dodge but swung at him too. We kept fighting, listening to our swords clashing until I knock out his sword. But again the room goes silent.

Whispers were what I heard. Some of them were, "Oh my lights. She knocked out his sword." "How can she do that?" "I have never seen anyone knock out Brain's sword." "What's happening?" I whispered to Brian. "Didn't I tell you?" asked Brian. "There are a lot of things you didn't tell me Brian. Like how I got in your room for the second time? Or how the people went silent as soon as we stepped foot inside the field? Or now?' I said. I felt the energy of the room shift. "One, I brought you to my room because you fell asleep in the playfield. Second, because I'm the most skilled Lightstringer out there, probably not now. Third, because they've seen me defeated. And believe me, I'm in shock that I got defeated right now. I wasn't even going easy on you," said Brian. "Um, ok. That makes sense."

"Nothing to stare at, complete your training," said Brian but no one moved. "What?! Never seen anyone get defeated?" asked Jade. "No, we've seen. But not Brian," said a girl with an annoying high pitched voice. She stepped out of the crowd. She looked like a bully you'd see in the movies or read about them in the books. She had a very thin figure. Her eyes looked as if it was going to fall out because of how much makeup she used. I was immediately angry with her. "Well, there's a first time for everything, Adalyn," said Brian not brothering to break eye contact with me to look at Adalyn. I think I heard her gasp and turn around but I wasn't sure. I was lost in his eyes. Jade then cleared her throat when she saw us and said,

"Guys? The training!" "Yeah," said Brian. "Who is she?" I asked. "Some girl that wants Brian," said Jade. I immediately got jealous. "Alice? Are you okay?" asked Brian. "Yeah. Let's complete with the training," I said as I began to take my position to strike. We completed with the training until we were soaking with sweat. "I think that's enough for today," said Brian. "Yeah. See you tomorrow," I said. "See ya," said Brian. I practically ran to my room and took a long shower. I don't know how much I sat there, because I found Amy knocking on my door. "Alice, are you okay? You've been there for about 3 hours," asked Amy. "Yes. I'm okay," I said as I got out and wore my robe. "I haven't seen you all day. Where have you been?" asked Amy, worried. "Yeah. Sorry about that I training," I said.

"The whole day?" asked Amy. "Fine! I was asleep at Brian's," I said. "Wait, BRIAN. Like BRIAN EVANS!" exclaimed Amy. "Wait, that's his last name. That Brian you're talking about is about 6'4, broad shoulders, green eyes, and curly hair?" I asked. "I wouldn't describe him like that but yeah that's the Brian I'm talking about," said Amy. "Yeah, I was at his place. Why are you freaking out?" I asked. "I don't know if anyone told you but Brian never had any contact with girls, let alone being in his bedroom," said Amy. "I know about that. Jade told me. But why though?" I asked. "It's said that Brian's mother left them when they were so little. He got so messed up that he swore off girls ever since. But that's what I heard," sighed Amy. "He has been through a lot," I said. "Yeah. Anyway, go to sleep you have training tomorrow," said Amy.

"But where are you going to sleep?"I asked. "Don't worry about me. I sleep there," said Amy as she pointed to asmall bird house that was on the window. "How-?" "I put it there. Now, go tosleep," ordered Amy. "Yes ma'am," I said as I went to bed. I slept like a baby.I believe I even snored, which I don't do, but Amy told me I did, so I guess Idid. May be it was because I was exhausted. I don't know, but what I do know isthat I need to solve the mystery of this prophecy and find out why Briandoesn't like girls? I woke up to find myself in a small room. The room wasdark. My breathing started to get heavy. Questions started to roam my mind. Butone question kept popping up, how in the world did I get here? "Anything ispossible in this world, love," said a stranger. "Who's there?" I asked. "Tsk,tsk. You wouldn't want to ruin the surprise, love," said the stranger again."Show me your face you coward," I spat as I felt a cold hand on my shoulder. "Ihate when people call me coward. I certainly am not a coward," thestranger said as his fingers tightened on my shoulder. I whimpered. "Soonyou'll meet me but be careful as you're the one that could destroy us all. Andlove? I come in peace. If you think I'm some kind of a threat you're wrong.Lights are definitely not a threat." "Wait, you're a Light?" I asked. "Yeah.""If you are really a Light then show your face!" I shouted.
