"Dear, your father was a Light too," she simply said. "No? My father was a mortal. I buried him." "Your Father was a Light," she sighed and continued, "And Then he got banished because he loved me." "What are you saying?" I asked looking at her. "Lights were never supposed to love each other. That's why he got banished." "Oh my god! How didn't I notice the resemblance before," whispered Amy. "Amy will tell you everything. My time now is done. Goodbye my child," she said as she turned into a bright blue light then disappeared. "Tell me what?! Mum? Mum?!" I cried. "Let's go Alice. We need to go. We stayed here too long. You're here without protection. I don't know how much time we've got left before any creature can come. We need to move right now," said Amy. I stood there dumbfounded and numb. "Let's go," said Amy as she took my hands and flew out of the house.

All the time when we were running back to the Lightpark, I kept thinking about my mum's words. Dad was a Light too? How? He was a mortal not a Light. I was broken out of my trance when I found Jade screaming at my face. What?! How? When did we come here? "Alice!" shouted Jade. "When did I come here?" I asked. "You just came here," she said as she gave me a confused look. "Are you okay?" she asked. "Yes? No? I don't know. My life is a mess. My life is a big fat lie," I cried. She hugged me and kept shushing me. "Are you okay now?" she asked after some time. "Yeah," I weakly smiled. "Ok. Tomorrow is the ball. Are you ready?" she asked. Oh my god! I totally forgot about the ball. "You forgot!" exclaimed Jade. "Yes," I whispered. She huffed but then sighed. "I am sorry. I shouldn't have shouted at you. Especially in this state," she said.

"Jade! Your brother is awake. He's asking for you," said Linda. I gave her weak smile and she returned to me a bright smile. I was going to go with Jade but Linda held my hand and said, "I think Amy wants to talk to you." "But I want to see Brian," I whined. "After the talk. All of us pixies will be there. Come on, let's go," she said as she dragged me to a weird room. I have been in this park form about 2 weeks and I still didn't see the whole park. We entered the room. It was grand with a big chandelier hanging from the top. A fire place and small rooms, actually they were tiny rooms. I looked up and saw blue figures flying around. So, I was at the pixies dorm. Some of the pixies were in human form too. Linda gestured to me to take a seat by the fire place and I sat. Then she said something in their language and in an instant all of the pixies quiet down. Amy emerged from behind the crowd and sat beside me.

She took my hand and asked, "I guess know you want to know about your father?" I nodded yes. She took a deep breath and looked at the fire. She began speaking and I could see that the place started to shimmer a bit. What was happening? Then I found myself in a palace, like the one you see in the movies. I was about to ask her what was happening until I saw figures roaming around the second floor. I saw a man shouting, "This is unacceptable. You know very well what will happen if you fell in love with her. You know the prophecy. We can't risk the prophecy to happen." The other man said, "Please father. I need to protect her. That Shadow king threatened to kill her. I can't let her die." "Alain. Enough with this Shadow nonsense. You won't contact her from now on. If you contact her, you will be banished," he said. I tried to move closer to get a better view, but something clashed beside me and they both froze.

"There's someone here. Go to your room and think about what I told you," he whispered. The man turned around and I was petrified. He was my father. If he was my father then the other man was my grandfather. I remember every time when I talk to him if I had grandparents, he would dismiss the idea saying that they are dead. Both his and mum's. But now, I was standing in front of my grandfather and he looked exactly like my father except the fancy clothes. Then the image shimmered again and I saw father standing in front of my weeping mother. "Char, please don't cry," he said as he hugged her. "But you will get banished if we see each other again." "Don't worry, they won't catch us," smirked my father. They kept hugging and I felt myself smiling. I was about to step in front to get a better look but again was interrupted. "Alain!" exclaimed the woman.

Father looked horrified, as if he saw a ghost. "Mo-mother," he said as he stood up and left mum's embrace. Grandma looked as if she was going to cry. "Why? Why did you do that?" she asked. "I love her. I want to protect her," teared father. "I am sorry, son. I am sorry," she cried. Then came 2 grands and took my father out of the garden. My dad kept struggling and shouting, "Leave me. I need to protect her. She's in grave danger. LEAVE ME. Please." He kept shouting at the top of his lungs until he was out of sight. My mum kept crying. "Why did you do that? To your own son?" asked mother between her sobs. Grandma looked at her and said, "I have to save my world." "By banishing your own son?" screamed mum. "I am sorry." And with that grandma left.

The scenes kept changing and I saw the fight that broke out with the Lights and Shadows. When my mum was defeated, dad found her and took her in. He helped her to regain her strength and as she was going to leave him to return to the Lights kingdom, she turned and lived with him. Ever since everyone thought that they were dead. No one knew about my dad's banishing except the pixies and everyone thought that my mum was dead. When a Light get banished, they wipe their memories of everything about their abnormal world. So dad didn't know who my mother was, she tried to tell him who he was but he couldn't remember. Eventually, she told him that she was a Light but he didn't care. He loved her with all his heart, and their lives were complete when they had me. The scene faded and I was back at the dormity.

"Why did you show this memory?" I asked. "That's what Lady Charlotte's fragment meant when she said that I'll explain to you," Amy said. "So my dad was a Light? But he was banished because he loved my mum?!" I screamed. Now all the pixies looked frightened, I looked at myself and found that I was glowing. "When the prophecy came out. It said that two Lights will fall in love. When that happens, the Lights will be facing their doom," said Amy. "But is my father born to two Lights?" I asked. Amy laughed and said, "No! Alice your grandma was a human." "If my grandma was a human that means my father is a Lightstringer not a Light," I shouted and saw that Amy flinched. "Well, your grandma wasn't technically all human," whispered Amy. "What do you mean?" I asked.

"I swore on my life that I'll neverbring this topic again but I have to tell you the whole truth," she said as shesighed. Some of the pixies looked at her as if she was crazy. "There arecreatures in this world that everyone thinks they are myths, that they don'texist," she said. I laughed and said, "In this world! Anything is possible." "Iknow but even the Lightstringers don't know about this creature. Because theyare so rare, they hide and never come out," she said. "What are they?" I asked."Yolimers," she said. I held my breath, I wanted to laugh. What kind of a nameis that?! "So every Light has a Yolimer?" I asked. "No," she said as shesmacked her forehead. "Way long ago, when Lights came into existence. Humans, Yolimersand Pixies roamed the Earth. The Lights that came to Earth were King Arthur andhis sister Queen Madelia. They were immortals but they can be killed in aspecific way."
