"Jade, can I talk to you individually?" asked Linda as Jade nodded. "You're going to keep me here?" I asked. "We'll be right back," reassured Linda. They went out and closed the door behind them. I moved closer to the door to hear them. "I think the impact of the power she wielded was too powerful on her petite figure." "What do you mean?" asked Jade. "What I mean is that, maybe she didn't know she could muster all that power. That's why her body is to recover. She's still in shook that would also explain why she assumes we wanted to kill her." "We should check on her. We can't leave her alone, especially in this state," answered Jade. I saw them coming towards the door, I ran to the bed as fast as I could.
"Alice? How are you feeling?" asked Jade. I looked at her confused. "Uh, yeah? I'm good," I answered. "Ok. Linda here is going to stay with you while I go look for Brian," she said and I nodded. Linda came nearer with a syringe in her hand. "Don't come near," I shouted. I looked around the room to find something to hold as a weapon but found none. I looked at the door then sprinted to it. I exited the room and started running, letting my legs take me to wherever it'll go. I kept running and looking behind my back, seeing if there's anyone chasing me. I exited the building I was in and entered the garden. It wasn't a garden, it was filled with gravestones, but the energy this place is giving off is happy and vibrant.
I went to a random gravestone and touched the engraving. It said, "ALAN ROBERTS. A LOVING MORTAL FATHER." As soon as I said his name flashbacks came to me, hitting me like a train. "Father?!" I cried. I roamed the graveyard. "There's more gravestones than I remembered," I thought out loud. I stood in front the last gravestone. I kneeled down and touched it. It said, "AMILIA. A LOVEABLE PRINCESS AND PROTECTOR." As soon as I touched hers, I started screaming. I screamed in agony as I relived the death of my father. Seeing and talking to my mother's fragment. Killing those Shadows. Talking to my grandfather about the prophecy. And lastly, killing the queen. She was holding Brian then left him to fall to his death. I screamed at the top of my lungs, producing a powerful light aura. The queen dissolved into ashes and Brian floated.
As soon as I relived these memories and finished them, I clasped. Only to be caught in someone's arms. I woke up again in the same room. I rubbed my head and said, "What happened?" "You fainted," said Brian as he darted his eyes to the door, not bothering to look at me. "Brian?" I whispered but he didn't answer me. "Brian?" I asked again but this time he whispered, "I can't do this," he said underneath his breath. He got up and got out of the room I looked around to find Jade and Linda standing beside each other. "Jade? What happened?" I asked. She looked at me with eyes full of tears. She ran to hug me. I hugged her back.
Now, Linda turned and got out too. "How long was I out?" I asked as she chuckled. "2 years," she said and my eyes widened. "2 years!" I exclaimed as I held my two fingers. She laughed hard and I looked at her confused. "What's so funny?" I shouted. She kept laughing then stopped when she saw my face. "You were out for 2 weeks," she said with a stone face. "I thought you never kid?" I asked. "Well, there's a first time for everything," she said as she smiled. Then the thought came to me, Amy was dead! "Why are you crying?" she asked. I didn't even feel the tears. "Amy is gone?" I whispered. She nodded her head as she hugged me. I tried to be strong but failed. I cried on her shoulder and cried for hours. "When was her funeral?" I asked. "Pixies don't do funerals, but we can make one if you like," she said. "How did she, you know?" I asked. It was hard to say dead. I just got over my father, now Amy. "When you killed the queen, you fainted. Your breathing was unstable and you had a very slim chance to survive."
"She said that she won't survive for another thousand years for another pulight to come. So she gave you her life," said Jade as she wiped the tear that rolled down her cheeks. "She gave me her life?" I whispered to myself. "I can't let her down. She didn't die for nothing. I have to fulfil this prophecy one way or another," I said as I stood up. "Wait! If every Light has a fragment somewhere after they die then I need to find father's," I said as I started to pace. "Alice, your father was banished. He was considered a mortal, his Light part was wiped form existence." "He was technically a Light before? So before he was banished he had to have a fragment somewhere in this world," I said as I stared at Jade. Her eyes widened and said, "I think I might have someone who can help us." "Who?" I asked. "You'll see," she said as she dragged me out of my room. "I don't want Tina again," I pleaded. "Why?" asked Jade as we stood in front a weird looking door. "She has anger issues. I don't like it when she gets all vampiery?" I said as Jade laughed. "That's Tina for you." "You? I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!" I shouted.
"Hello Alicia." "My name is Alice!" I shouted. "It's Alicia. Your parents named you Alicia after my own mother." "What are you doing here?" I yelled. "Alice! Stop this childish act. He's after all your grandfather," said Jade. "You too Jade! He's not my grandfather!" I huffed. "Leave her to be Jade," he said. "To answer your question dear, I am here to help you find for father's fragment." "That if he has one," he whispered underneath his breath. "I heard that!" I exclaimed. "Alice, your majesty. Grad is calling me. Try to keep calm and try not to cut off each other heads while I am gone. No offense your majesty," bowed Jade. "None taken," he bowed back. The moment Jade was out of sight, he held my arm and said, "The way that you talked to me right now is unacceptable, young lady." He tightens and tightens his grip and I whimper beneath him. "Apologize and I'll let go," he whispered. "Never," I spat in disgust.
"Leave her," shouted a voice from myback. I knew it was Brian's. "Well, lover boy, I would do that if your littlegirlfriend here apologize for disrespecting me!" the prince saidas he tightened more. "I am not his..." "Get your hand off of her or I'll cutit. It doesn't matter to me you're royalty. I'll cut your hand if you don'tleave her now!" warned Brian. I have never seen Brian that angry. The princepushed me to the floor but before I can meet the floor Brian catches me. Istood up and dusted myself and said, "Thank you." "No need to thank me," hesaid emotionless. "Okay! What's up with his mood swings?" I thought. "Brian! Ididn't know you are going with them?" asked Jade. "Now you show up Jade? Wherewere you a while ago?" I muttered. "Change of plans, I guess," he shrugged onlyto be answered by a confused Jade. "Okay? Anyways, Alice. Prince Franklin herewill show you to your father's fragment. This is our last hope Alice. If thefragment goes off without you getting all of your answers, I don't know whatwill happen to us," said Jade as she held my shoulders. "I'll do my best Jade,"I sighed.
