After listening to Kat's advice I still leave the club and head down to the lake. When I get there I see a shadow against the full moon.

Pulling my phone out of my pocket I send Ronnie a message.

Me: I felt sick and had to go back to the hotel.

Ronnie: Are you okay?

Me: I think it's food poisoning. It might have had something to do with the food I ate on the way to town.

Ronnie: That better be the case. I don't want to see my sister-in-law at the hotel when I come by in the morning.
