When I wake the following morning, I hear a voice lowly saying. "Lizzie, sweetheart. Are you awake?"
Eliza moves out of my arms and sits up. She makes sure that the covers don't move off me. Turning towards her mother she says. "I am now. What do you need, Mom?"
Mrs Donoghue steps into the room. "I have a Doctor's appointment later on today. Can you drive me as your father will be at the club?"
"Sure, Mom." Eliza leans over and grabs a shirt from the drawer. "Do you want me to help you make breakfast?"
"Sure," As soon as I think she's moved out of the room I pull the covers off me. When I see Mrs Donoghue still there I know that I made a mistake making myself seen. She shakes her head. "You could have warned me about Austin being here, sweetheart."
Laughing she looks between her Mom and me. "You know now."
She closes the door to the bedroom without saying anything else.
Eliza grabs a pair of shorts out of the drawer. "I'm going to help Mom with breakfast. Take a shower and then meet us down there."
"Why don't we just shower together later? That way we're saving water." I wink at her before grabbing my pants and shirt off the floor. Taking her hand we both walk downstairs together.
When we get to the kitchen Mrs Donoghue has a pan on the stove with bacon in it, eggs are in a second pan cooking. "Can you put the bread into the toaster?" Mrs Donoghue asks Eliza.
"Sure," She walks over to the bread bin and puts the bread in the toaster.
Mr Donoghue walks into the kitchen and looks around the room. His eyes land on me, as I'm sitting at the counter on a stool. "What are you doing here so early? I thought you went home last night."
Eliza's face heats up as she butters the toast.
Turning towards her father I say. "After you went to bed I snuck through Eliza's window and spent the night."
Mr Donoghue claps me on the back and says. "I was hoping you'd go with telling me the truth and I'm glad you did. You're not doing anything wrong by wanting to spend the night with her. So, what are your plans for today?"
"I'm going over to my parent's place to talk to them before coming back here and picking up Eliza for dinner with Mom and Dad."
Mr Donoghue looks at his daughter and says. "Are you going to spend the night with Austin?"
"Yes, I am. I hope that's not a problem?"
"Not at all. Your mother has a friend coming over later."
Mrs Donoghue dishes the first plates out. She gives the food to Mr Donoghue and me.
Looking over at me Mr Donoghue says. "Let's eat in the living room." Grabbing his plate he leads the way to the living room and I follow him.
As soon as we get there the TV is on and they're talking about a case that I'll be taking on when I get home.
Mr Donoghue asks me questions about the case and I don't say too much about it as it's better for me not to.
I don't want to ruin the case before it could be brought before the courts and jury.
Eliza and her mother walk into the room as the case is broadcasted for the hundredth time this week.
It's like the news reporter has nothing else to broadcast onto our TV's.
Sitting in the living I see a news report come on the TV about Billionaire Cole Harrison. He was caught with blood on his hands and next to him was a pale woman. She was holding onto tightly as Cole was led away from the building. "Cole Harrison has been arrested for murdering one of his employees. There are talks that a third party is involved in this. Until we know more that's all we're allowed to say on this case."
As the weeks went on we found out that the person that was murdered was stalking and threatening the woman that was holding onto Cole.
Eliza takes a seat next to me and I wrap my arms around me. She smiles at me and says. "How's the food?"
A smile spreads across my face. "It's perfect. Just like the woman that's sitting by my side."
Ding, Ding.
Mr Donoghue, Eliza and I check our phones to see if we were the ones that got a message.
Standing up, I look at everyone and say. "Excuse me. I have to reply to this urgent matter." Walking out of the room I put the phone up to my ear and then start pacing as I talk on the phone.
Office: It's Dana. I need your help.
Me: I told you I was going away for a month and that means that I don't want a phone call from work while I was on vacation.
Dana: I have Sofia here and she wants you to do some work for her.
Dragging my hands through my hair, I take a seat and look towards the living room.
Me: I'm not coming home early because that girl wants me to draw up the divorce papers. She knew I wasn't going to be in the office and she pulls a stunt like this to get me back home.
Eliza walks into the room and I smile at her, before mouthing. "It's work." Pulling her into my arms I whisper. "I'll cut it short."
"Okay,"
Me: Dana deal with this and stop calling me whenever a client has a problem. I have four people that are working closely with me that can deal with it just as good as me. I'll see you next month.
Hanging up I kiss the top of Eliza's head. "I think I'm going to turn this phone off while I'm with you. It's like someone doesn't want us together.
A lot of people don't want us together, but if we stand together than they won't get their way.
Eliza and I walk back to the living room and finish breakfast with her family. When breakfast is over Eliza and I clean the kitchen before we head upstairs to her bedroom. Eliza pulls her shirt over her head. She looks at me and says. "Let's shower together." She holds her hand out to me and I take it as she leads me to the bathroom.
"Do you need help removing the rest of your clothing?" I ask her huskily.
"You know I do, Baby. Just don't take forever." She stands in front of me and waits for me to remove her bra.
Moving my hand to the back of the bra. I unhook it and let it drop to the floor. I place a kiss on her neck and she starts moaning my name. "Austin,"
A smile spreads across my face. "Keep moaning my name. You know how hard it makes me," with that said I move closer to her so she can feel how hard I am. "I think we should get into the shower before I fuck you on the counter."
