Pre-battle

(Third POV)

Nova, Nat, Steve and Clint walked onto the platform and into one of the jets were a scrawny boy stopped them.

"Hey, you guys aren't authorized to be in here", he said.

"Son, just don't", Steve told.

This got Nova to laugh and turned to her left to say something to Sage when she realized her twin wasn't there.

"Where's Sage", she asked.

"Don't know, kid", Clint said.

"I saw her and Tony fly off", Nat responded.

"Cool", Nova exclaimed.

She then sat down and buckled in next to Steve while Nat and Clint piloted.

Tony was speeding as fast as he could towards the tower, he could have gotten their faster but he didn't want to accidentally drop Sage.

Sage was being held with only one of his arms while she had her legs wrapped around his waist and head stuffed I got he metal chest scared for her life.

They stopped near the top of the building where the Tesseract was along with Dr.Selvig.

"Shut it down, Dr.Selvig", Tony's robotic voice said.

"It's too late", he yelled back. "She can't stop now. She wants to show us something. A new universe."

"Okay", came Tony's voice, before you heard the power of his hand blasters and blasted the Tesseract.

But the Tesseract sent a wave out sending Tony flying back tightening his arm around Sage who let out a scream.

Tony was talking to Jarvis about some type of plan b while he looked down on the balcony at Loki.

"Sir, the Mark 7 is not ready for deployment", Jarvis's voice came through.

"Then skip the spinning rims. We're on the clock", Tony said back.

"I wanna see the spinning rings", Sage spoke up.

"Maybe another day, kiddo", Tony said.

Before they got onto the walkway thing and it started taking off Tony's suit while he walked in it.

"This is so cool", Sage squealed and Tony smiled at her.

"Please tell me your going to appeal to my humanity", Loki asked them.

"Actually, we're planning to threaten you", Tony said, behind the bar now.

"You should have left your at our on for that", Loki smirked.

"Yeah. It's seen a bit of mileage, and you've got the glow stick of destiny", Tony said, gesturing to the scepter as Loki smirked down at it.

"Would you like a drink?", Tony asked him.

"I do", Sage raised her hand sitting on a barstool.

"Stalling me won't change anything", Loki said to him.

"No, no, threatening", Tony paused him. "No drink? Are you sure? I'm having one."

"Me too", Sage whined.

"The chitauri are coming. Nothing will change that", Loki told them. "What have I to fear."

"The Avengers", Tony said, pouring out a drink for himself and grabbing something from a mini fridge and putting in front of Sage. But she also noticed he had put two bracelets on his wrists.
