(Third POV)

Two years.

It's been nearly two years since Sage and Pietro have been out hiding in Norway, two years since the team split and two years since they have seen anyone from Team Iron Man.

It had also been nearly two years since Pietro had heard from Wanda, seeming as her and Vision still haven't turned on their comms and location.

It's been months since they've heard any news from anyone else on Team Cap, as Steve, Sam and Nat are always moving around, choosing not to stay in one place for long.

It was a miracle neither Pietro or Sage had gone mad, well mostly Sage as she had literally just got out of the healing stage a few months ago and her brain is fully run by her now, or well the real her.

Who she was meant to be.

That was all thanks to Pietro, who had been patient with and for her the whole time, even when she wasn't, telling her things like this takes and needs time.

It didn't really feel like two years to them as they could spend eternity together and it still wouldn't have been enough time for them to spend with each other.

One literally could not function without the other, which is funny seeming as they only met a few years back, but it's true, if one died the other would simply just waste away.

But right now that's not what they were focusing on, right now Sage was deciding what outfit to wear.

Pietro had asked her on a date, which was going to be really the first real one seeming as every other date they didn't leave the house, to scared to be caught outside.

Yes, both Sage and Pietro haven't really left the house in two years unless it was to run to the shop.

But right now, Pietro has asked Sage on a real date and they were gonna go see the northern lights.

They had seen them before from the house, but never took the time to actually leave and see them up close.

Sage had finally chose her outfit and patted herself on the back for what she had done. She had even put on some makeup going for a daring red lip and then just put her hair in a split slick back clip.

She made sure to look in the mirror a few times before leaving, smiling in it and taking deep breaths to get the nerves to go away.

She didn't know why she was nervous seeming as Pietro could care less what she was wearing, because he honestly thought she would still look like a princess in a potato sack and thought she looked even prettier without makeup, he said it makes her glow.

But Sage just wanted to look nice for their first real date since...ever really, so she just wanted to put in a bit of effort.

She finally gained an ounce of confidence, that ounce enough for her to open the door to the the room and into the hallway.

She walked down the hallway and into the sitting room, seeing Pietro standing there facing her.

He stood there wearing black trousers and a dark blue blouse with the first few buttons unbuttoned. In his hands he had a bouquet of dark blue and mint green roses as he knew Sage loved both of their favorite colors mixed together.

"You look stunning, princessa", Pietro breathed out as he looked her up and down, literally gaping at Sage.

"Thank you, Piet", she smiled softly. "You look pretty dashing."
