Shawarma

(Third POV)

Tony was still rapidly falling to the ground and his suit seemed to not be working as it made no movement of putting on the blasters.

"He's not slowing down", Thor said, spinning his hammer ready to fly to Tony.

But before Thor could make a move a big green person jumped off a roof and grabbed Tony before scaling down the side of a building.

It was Hulk. But then Hulk fell from the side of the building falling onto a car and rolling a away on the ground before stopping.

He put Tony on his back before standing up, the other four running over to where Tony was now laying.

"Is he breathing?", Steve breathed out.

Thor grabbed the face part of Tony's suit and broke it off, throwing it away. Steve put his ear near Tony's mouth to see if he was breathing.

Both Sage and Nova could do nothing but watch as Steve sat up with a doubtful face.

Sage quickly turned to her sister with tears in her eyes and Nova smiled sympathetically and brought her sister into her arms, letting her cry.

The Hulk was breathing heavily while looking down at Tony letting out a loud Roar that had Tony waking up in shock.

Everyone looked down at Tony in shock that he was alive and Hulk just let out another Roar, that was kind of like 'I'm so cool'.

"What the hell?", was the first thing Tony said.

"What just happened?", Tony asked. "Please tell me nobody kissed me."

Steve breathed heavily and thought for a few seconds and looked up, looking around him before answering Tony.

"We won", Steve told him.

Tony letting out a sigh of relief and closed his eyes, putting his head down on the ground.

"All right, yay!", he sarcastically said. "Hurray. Good job, guys.......Lets just not come in tomorrow. Let's just take a day."

Everyone was looking at him in disbelief with how he was acting when he nearly died, well everyone but Sage and Nova. Sage because that's what she does in a bad situation and Nova because she was used to this with Sage.

"Have you ever tried shawarma?", Tony asked looking at everyone. "There's a shawarma joint about two blocks from here. I don't know what it is, but I want to try it."

"I was kinda craving a Big Mac and a McFlurry, but I'll go for anything right now", Nova mumbled.

"That's the spirit", Tony said.

"We're not finished yet", Thor cut in, looking up at Stark tower.

Everyone else then looked up at Stark Tower and when Tony did he sighed.

"And then shawarma after", looking at Thor.

They were making their way up Stark Tower to get Loki and Nova was in a conversation with Clint and Natasha.

"You did good back there", Nat told her.

"Thanks, so did you... oh and you'll have to teach me some of them moves you've been hiding", she said back to Nat.

"I will, and don't think I didn't forget about you and Sage sneaking in to talk to Loki, we will be talking about this after we finish", Nat said sternly.

"Are you serious? Clint, tell her it's not serious", Nova said turning to Clint with puppy dog eyes.

"I'm sorry, Nova, but you have to face the consequences. You shouldn't have been in there", Clint tried to be stern.

Nova just grumbled before changing the subject with Clint and Nat.

"We should go somewhere", she said. "When all of this is over."

"You mean like going for shawarma?", said Nat teasingly with a smile on her face.

"No", Nova rolled her eyes, a grin making it's way across her face. "I mean something like a holiday."

"Oh yeah?", said Clint, smiling down at Nova whose eyes seemed to light up in excitement, just talking about her childish plans for the future.

"Yeah! Like the beach or something! All of us, together", she said, practically jumping up and down in excitement.

"Well, I do think that it would be a well deserved break for us after that", said Clint. "How about we all just go for icecream instead? And maybe, just maybe we can have a barbecue on the beach to celebrate some special occasion, like your birthday?"

"Icecream sounds great, I'm starving!", said Nova just as her stomach grumbled in hunger.

Clint laughed and put his arm around Nova's shoulders, bringing her closer to him and ruffled her already messy hair.

Nat chuckled quietly at the two and shook her head as they both started messing around and laughing.

Sage though stayed at the back by herself, keeping to her thoughts thinking about all that's just happened and for once she didn't speak her mind she just let her thoughts swarm around.

What if Tony had died? What if she had died? What if Nova had died? What would she do, she wouldn't be able to live without her sister and she was starting to think of Tony as the cool.

"Hey, kiddo, hundred bucks for your thoughts?", Tony's voice cut in.

"Nothing important", she said back, looking at the ground.

"Hey, look at me", Tony said, and Sage looked up at him.

Tony thought he had saw tear streaks on her cheeks outside but now that he had a closer look he could definitely identify that she had been crying.

"Why are you crying, kiddo? Aren't you kids supposed to be happy?", he asked.

"I'm sorry, I just thought we lost you and no one would let me get to you", Sage said honestly.

Tony realized that this kid cared about him and that she looked up to him in some way, and in some way that warmed his heart that she cared enough to cry over him.

"No need to be sorry, kiddo, and I'm fine", he told her, gesturing to himself.

"I can see that", she said.

They both laughed and then Tony just hugged her, he didn't have a reason he just hugged her and she clung back on to him.

"Now let's stop this man with horns", Sage said, when they finished hugging.

Loki was trying to crawl and pull himself up the steps in the room after having been lying in the same spot for a long time after bei smashed by the Hulk.

He let out a few grunts when he successfully sat on it when he sensed stuff behind him, turning around to see the Avengers.

Tony holding his blasters up and rest to shoot, with Sage next to him with her powers all ready to grab him. Hulk behind them ready to smash. Steve next to Hulk looking at Loki with a stern gaze. Clint right in front of Loki pointing his bow at him with an arrow ready to shoot, and Nova was next to him with both her powers and knife ready. Thor was behind Nova with his hammer in hand, looking both stern and sad. Nat was next to Thor with Loki's scepter in her hands ready to use his own weapon against him.

"If it's all the same to you. I'll have that drink now", was what Loki said.

"I could go for another Capri Sun", Sage said out loud, back to her normal self.

"Ooo, I could go for one too!", Nova said, wanting a Capri Sun and also deciding to not call her sister a name for saying her mind before she thought. "I'd kill for a Capri Sun, right now", she said, practically drooling.

"Okay, calm down", said Clint. "No need to kill, I'll buy you a Capri Sun."
