Endgame

Tony clicked his fingers and waited for death his eyes closed with tears knowing what was about to happen.

But when nothing happened Tony opened his eyes and looked around, surprised on what was happening.

But when Tony turned his arm back around he was shocked to see the stones gone from the other gauntlet.

Tony then turned to look at Strange with a panicked look, but Strange only shook his head with a sorrowful look in his eyes.

"It was the only way", is all he said.

And that's when Tony heard boots hit the ground and he turned around to see Sage her powers surrounding her and holding up all the stones with her powers.

"Not my family", she spoke clearly with confidence and power in her voice.

And with that she lifted a hand and clicked her fingers, Thanos and his army starting to dust away slowly.

Nova was fighting a Chitauri when she heard a loud noise behind her and saw a big flying Chitauri coming towards her fast and just as it opened its mouth to eat her it dusted away.

She was confused on what was happening but realized they had won and she let out a laugh of relief.

There seemed to be some commotion happening and she walked over with everyone else in a crowd to see what was happening.

When she got close enough she could her people talking, and they seemed to be quite in shock.

"Princessa", she heard Pietro say, and that's when she started getting scared, but she still couldn't see anything yet.

"Kid", she then noticed as the voice of Tony, that had sadness mixed into it.

"Doll", the voice of Bucky called in worry.

"Trouble", Clints voice, then came, Nova only ever able to take a deep breath hearing the voice of the second person she missed the most, having not seen Clint the whole battle.

"Little one", Thors voice came, not being as loud and boisterous as Nova remembered.

Nova was trying her hardest to look around people and see what was happening and why everybody was so worried, but it was like someone had pressed paused and she couldn't move.

Just as she heard what would be a body hit the ground and as soon as she heard that, she was sprinting through people to see what happened.

And her heart just stopped at the sight.

Sage lying on the ground in Pietro's and Tony's arms, looking down at her body that was burnt and bloody.

Nova dropped to her knees in shock beside Sage not knowing what to do, panicking and also so confused on what is happening.

"No, no, no", Nova muttered, grabbing onto Sages hand. "You can't leave me again, Sage, please."

"I'm not leaving. You're stuck with me forever", Sage repeated the words Nova said to her five years ago.

"What if I'm not ready to say goodbye", Nova whispered, her eyes flooding with tears.

"It's not a goodbye. It's a see you soon", Sage changed the words a bit.

"Promise", Nova whispered, holding out a pinkie.

"Promise", Sage weakly held out a pinkie that Nova linked them with and she let out a sob, smiling sadly down at her sister as tears ran down her face.

Peter then came up and picked up Nova cradling her to his chest as she cried, so he could give other people time to say goodbye to Sage as they could all see she was slipping.

"What have you done, princessa", Pietro whispered.

"I had to save you. All of you", she whispered.

"I love you", he cried. "So, so much."

"I know, and I love you too", she smiled before looking back up. "We never got to get married."

"We will", he spoke and leaned down to whisper in her ear. "We'll see each other again, and you'll be in your dress me in a tux and it will be up by the northern lights and everyone will be there to enjoy the day."

"I can't wait", she spoke.

Pietro then locked eyes with Tony and nodded that he could come over, Tony having of left to give the couple some space to say their goodbyes.

"Hey, Sage", he whispered, running his hand through her hair, tears building up in his eyes as he looked down at his daughter.

"Hey, dad", she said looking over at him.

"I'm scared", she cried.

"It's okay to be scared", Tony told her. "But there's nothing to worry about, you're fine."

"I love you all", she spoke quietly, but it echoed around so everyone heard as she looked sprung at them with cracked open eyes, just about to close.

She met eyes with Bucky and she could see him crying as they had barely got to talk and catch up.

Then with Steve, Sam, Pepper and so on with everyone.

"It's okay, you can rest now", she heard Pietro whisper.

She looked over and caught eyes with Strange who had tears in his eyes but nodded at her silent question.

She then looked back into Pietro's eyes, where she found comfort.

"We did it", was the last thing she whispered, before closing her with a content smile on her face as she drifted away from the world.

And I oop, cried while writing this because me and Freddie haven't really gone through the loss of a character at all whilst writing except for Lottie in the Babysitter but we kinda knew she had to die, but Sage wasn't planned from the start at all as we had planned they live a happy ending but about mid way or after civil war we were coming up with ideas to make it a bit more exciting and came up with a different idea which was Sage dying and we liked how it went in the story line and how we could continue it, but also very sad to write.

So we do hope you enjoyed this book so far as we aren't done yet and maybe your crying while readying this authors note or just skipped over it like most people probably do.
