Loads of people were back now, Tony, Rhodey, Nebula and Rocket and Bruce were going to try get Thor, Nat going to get Clint.
Sage was just walking around the compound and brushing her hand up against the wall, memories flashing in her head of her time spent here, when everyone was here.
"Hey", she heard a voice behind her, and her breath hitched.
She slowly turned around to see Tony standing there and fiddling with his hands with his head down seeming to be nervous.
"Hi", Sage breathed as Tony slowly lifted his head up.
"So, uh", he scratched the back of his neck. "How've you been", he cringed at his own words.
"I've been better", Sage said, Tony nodding. "How've you been doing. Pepper and Morgan okay?"
"Yeah, their fine", Tony nodded.
"And you?", Sage raised a brow.
"Wanna talk", Tony nodded his head to the chairs.
"Sure", she said, walking over and sitting on one of the chairs, Tony sitting in the one across from hers.
It was silence for a few minutes, this being the first time they had actually talked to each other in around seven years.
"I missed you", Tony said first, Sage looking up to see him already looking at her.
"I missed you too", she smiled.
"So, you and Pietro still going", he then asked.
"Yes", she laughed. "Still together."
"Might have to give him a talk", Tony joked.
"We've been together eight years, I doubt he'll leave me now", Sage told him.
"Well, I can still give him a talk", Tony told her.
"True", she nodded. "But I'm sure he's scared enough, seeming as Bucky and Nova game him a talk, well, mostly scared of Nova."
"Hmm, might just have to, to bring up the level of afraidness, can't have some guy hurting my first daughter, now can I."
Sage looked up in speed lighting to Tony's face as she saw the genuine look in Tony's eyes as he said this.
"You didn't think I forgot you did you", he teased her, seeing the mix of shock, sadness and happiness in her eyes.
"Well, you had Peter during the accords and now you have Morgan to worry about", Sage shrugged. "And I was gone."
"I never stopped looking for you during the accords, that's why I made everyone suits, hoping they would come back, or I would get the guts to actually go find them", Tony told her, looking down. "But I looked for you the most, not even to try to persuade you back, just to know you were okay."
Tony looked back up at her before getting on the floor and kneeling in front of her, grabbing her hand.
"And I will always care for you, even when I'm not there. And now I'm here 'cause I care for you, Cap, Nat and everyone else. And I tell you now I'm gonna do everything I can to help get Nova to you. I'm gonna bring everyone back home", he finished looking into her eyes.
"Thank you", Sage said, crying.
