The next day soon came, and everyone was excited. Specifically Sokka, who was walking down the hallways in his brand new outfit, confident in his look. "Who looks good today, Sokka does? Who gets all the ladies? Sokka does," he was muttering to himself. He was wearing a light blue robe, his chest mostly revealed, over brown pants and shoes. He came to a stop and knocked on Dai's door, opening it slowly to peek inside. "Oh Iiiice Queen, are you ready? 'Cause I'm ready to have fun!" he said with a big grin.

Dai slowly walked around the corner, blinking and looking down as she spotted Sokka. She leaned down, pulling an icy blue heel onto her foot, her red cheeks facing away from him. "Fuckin' shoes," she muttered. Once they were on, she took a few shaky steps before regaining her balance and lifting her chin again. "Right," she said, walking forward. "Festival." Her combat boots had their own heels, but she still wasn't used to shoes. Sokka linked arms with her, leading her to the dining hall, her light blue dress flowing around her. It featured a one-piece bathing-suit-like top with a see-through skirt over it, to her feet, light icicles made of cloth adorning the bottom, three-inch sleeves, and waist.

When everyone was ready, Athlea moved the festival to the dining hall. At that point, the people could move from the dining hall to the ballroom and in between, freely. Sokka ate in the dining room, somehow getting involved in a conversation with a politician about... food. "...And yeah, Water Tribe? Love the food. Seafood; not spicy, but definitely enjoyable!" He grinned, his gaze wandering around the table and catching Dai. She was wearing a blue dress with cloth icicles that went below her knees, and below there it was a sheer blue to her ankles. She held her chin high, confidently.

After a while, they returned to the ballroom, along with most of those partying with them. Athlea sighed happily, a pleased smile crossing her face. She reached for her water, sipping on it.

Seo leaned in from where she was standing nearby. "Your Majesty, now that it is spring... I believe it would be the best season, and not to mention, time, to conceive an heir." She spoke in a calm and patient voice, but Athlea's eyes widened.

"Thing is," Athlea responded, putting her glass down, "I'm already pregnant."

Seo and MyungJong's jaws dropped. The room went silent. Dai almost dropped her glass of tea, glancing at Athlea with wide eyes. She glanced at Zuko; his eyes went wide and he tensed before picking up a glass of water and chugging the entire thing. Katara and the others had overheard from their close table as well. Katara glanced around, her eyes wide.

"Oh, right, the baby!" Dai said. Zuko choked on his water, looking at Dai with confusion. He sighed. "I'm so excited to meet my new niece," Dai continued gushing. She tilted her head to the side. "Oh, wait, he's going to be a nephew, isn't he?" Her eyes gleamed mischievously as she took a sip of her tea, her gaze steady on Athlea's.

"Oh, what the hell..." Sokka mumbled, his eyes wide. He glanced at Dai, and then back at Zuko.

Athlea glanced at Dai, frowning. "I-I don't know! It's too early to know after all!" Her father approached, and her eyes went even wider.

Dai turned her head, snorting. She cleared her throat, cheeks pink from stifling laughter. She bit her lip, grinning ear to ear. "I suppose it is," she agreed. "I bet it's a little nephew." She raised her eyebrows at Athlea.

"A grandchild!?" he asked. "Let's see you now, as a dad, Lord Zuko," Avitus teased with a chuckle.

Zuko pulled at the collar of his shirt. "Yeah," he said, his voice cracking. He cleared his throat. "Yeah," he said again. "I'm blessed."

"Zuko! No way buddy!" Sokka chimed in. "Say, I'm the babysitter." He grinned broadly.

"You are not babysitting," Katara told Sokka.
