Sokka eventually showed up at the stables, leaning against the wall. "Hi," he greeted Dai calmly, watching her. He was still in his pajamas, but had lost the pillow. "So... we agreed to talk."

Dai was brushing Isa in between the rows of stables, and she glanced up as Sokka entered. She was clearly at peace with her horse. "Hey," she said softly. She herself was wearing baby blue jeggings and a white tank top with 1-inch straps. "Hey," she said softly. She made a face, throwing the brush into a bin with the others. "Yeah, we did." She turned away from Isa, leaning on him and facing Sokka.

"Yeah..." he started and then looked away for a second. He finally cleared his throat after a second and faced her. "Why the sudden change in mind?" he finally asked as he looked at her. "What made you change your mind so fast? Going from indifferent and cold to simply... accepting?"

Dai looked down, one hand fiddling with the staff that was on her belt like always. "I talked to Yue?" she said. She sighed, tilting her head. "You know how Athlea and Aang can enter the spirit world because they're all zen and shit? I mean, I'm not, but I taught myself to relax enough to talk to spirits. So, yeah, I talked to my sister." She shrugged.

Sokka raised an eyebrow and blinked a few times. He slightly shook his head and rubbed the back of his neck, looking away. "Right..." he said, taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly, dropping his hand and placing it in his pockets as he then moved away from the wall and approached her. She bit her lip. He Stood in front of her and looked down at her at her for a few good seconds. She moved her hands to his chest, her lips parted, her blue eyes flitting between his. His hands reached to hers and took them, holding them. ".,.Then, Dai, do you want to be my girlfriend?" he asked with a small smile on his face.

"Yes," she said softly, smiling now, her eyes flitting between his.

Sokka nodded at her response, his smile becoming bigger and brighter, his blue eyes shining. "That's awesome, then," he said. "Yes, cool cool," he said, confident. He leaned in to kiss her, then stopped, glancing at Isa. The white horse was looking over his shoulder at them. "Can he not watch? It makes it weird."

Dai covered her mouth with a hand, giggling. "He's trying to tell you I've never kissed anyone before," she told him. She turned and started unclipping Isa's stable ties, cooing to him as she put him back in his stall.

Sokka's gaze moved to Isa, a glare on his face. "What are you looking at?!" he exclaimed. He crossed his arms, pouting and looking away as Dai spoke to the horse.

Dai laughed, dusting off her shorts as she approached Sokka again. "Careful, I like him more than you," she teased gently, tapping him on the nose as she walked by.

Sokka uncrossed his nose, blinking. "How do you like a horse more than me? A horse!"

Dai grinned. "He's nice," she teased. "I have to change. What time is it?" she asked, heading toward the Palace.

Sokka watched her for a moment, his hands behind his head before he decided to follow. "Not sure, really... afternoon?"

She laughed at him, shaking her head. "Go put your swimsuit on, lazy. Katara wants to go for a swim." One of the few Followers that she had brought with her rushed over, eyes wide, a scroll in hand. They read it quietly to her and her eyes narrowed. She nodded, speaking quietly, and the Follower rushed away again.
