Hold Me Tight || Revali

Chapter 19 || A Calamity Falls.

Zelda opened her eyes wide after a few moments of silence. She stroked her hand across the guardians side as she whispered quietly, "Terrako..." You watched as her hand slowly closed tightly. "Calamity Ganon..." She said, she didn't sound sad anymore, instead she sounded like she was full of rage. You and the champions stood up straight and stared at the princess as she slowly got back on her feet, her fists clenched together. "For our future... This is where you fall!" She turned towards the sanctum and gestured for everyone to follow her. Calamity Ganon will finally be taken down forever! Everyone made their way to the sanctum, following the princess.

Once everyone was inside the sanctum, you were greeted by a loud roar. The malice started flying towards all of you. Revali protected you with his wing as him, Teba and the others protect themselves with their weapons/shields. Except Sidon covered Mipha with his back turned to Ganon. You looked up once the malice was calming down. The beast's roar seemed to have made some pieces of the roof fall down on the ground, surprisingly, not hitting you. Link looked up and saw the princess just standing there in shock as a large piece of the ceiling was about to fall on her. He quickly ran to the princess' side and knocked the roof away. Everyone was a bit shocked by how he did that but was interrupted by a few pieces of malice making its way towards Link. Zelda pushed him aside and used her power to stop Ganon from getting to everyone. Your attacks wouldn't get through as he now was. Zelda fell onto the ground as she tried her best to hold the malice back as much as she could. Concern was on everyone's face until you looked down and noticed the broken guardian running towards ganon. The guardian threw itself into the malice, making Calamity Ganon roar out loud again. You covered your ears a bit until looking towards Zelda as she slowly got back up.

"No more... This is the end!" She held onto the ancient screw as everyone was ready to fight. Your attacks were now able to reach Ganon. Link was about to take him down until he suddenly jumped away and screeched, slamming his malice hands against the ground, making everyone fall down and land in a small room underneath the sanctum. The Rito flew down whereas you and the others used your paragliders and landed safely on the ground. The fight continued. You were injured after getting hit by Ganon's scratching attack. You fell back against the wall and held onto your side tightly. Revali stopped and flew over to you, "Y/N! Are you ok?!" He ran next to you as he helped you up. You nodded slowly, Revali didn't agree with you fighting while in such a state and put you on his back as he continued to fight in the air. You held onto him tightly, warning him about any targeted attacks. Once Ganon was weakened, Revali landed next to Daruk and Teba as he placed you down carefully and helped you stand.

"You can do it, little guy!" Daruk shouted as Link began running against the beast who was crouching down, tired. He jumped on a small pile of the sanctum flooring to get a better shot. Revali shouted in his usual tone, "Don't screw this up!" You watched as Link flew into the air and grunted loudly as he sliced Ganon in half with the Master Sword. You smiled a bit, it was nice to see your childhood friend grow up to wield such power and being an appointed knight for the princess. He jumped back and looked up at the princess before nodding. Zelda took this as a sign that she can seal Ganon away forever. She aimed her palm towards the malice and the triforce could be faintly seen on her hand. She grunted a bit but you knew the Calamity was gone once the screams faded. The bright light died down and Zelda slowly turned towards the small crowd. You smiled and nodded, still holding onto the small scratch on your side.

All of you went onto the balcony in the castle and looked at the village which was sadly in ruins. You were walking next to Link, with the help of Revali, until you were all distracted by strange sparkling coming from behind. You turned and saw that Teba and the others were about to travel back to the future. "Well then... it seems the time has come. I could not be prouder, it was an honour to be of service!" Riju said, looking at her sand seal then back up to Urbosa. "I know that you'll lead our people well, Riju." Urbosa said with a smile. Daruk and Yunobo fist bumped each other.

"Thanks for everything Yunobo, we didn't get much time together but I'll always cherish it!" Daruk said. "I will too! It was so much fun, you'rethe best Daruk!" Yunobo replied.

"This has been enlightening. I even got to see the face behind the Champion.. And his lover." Teba spoke. Revali didn't say anything but you, "Thank you, Teba. It was truly amazing to fight beside you." You smiled softly.

Mipha walked over to Sidon as he crouched down to her level, "I know, that we'll meet again dear brother!" She had a hand on her chest with a small smile. Sidon frowned a bit before smiling back with his bright teeth, "Of course... You're my beloved sister and our hearts shall never be apart!" Mipha giggled softly. Zelda walked over and confessed her gratitude to the time travelers. They soon turned into a small ball of sparkles and flew into the sky. "May the light shine upon you for all time." She said, standing next to Link while holding the remaining piece of the guardian.
